"We're looking to put together a page on Mensactivism.org that tracks anti-male companies that abuse or defame men in commercials."
I can not make the chat time tonight... but I think that the anti-male web page is a great idea (hopefully I can contribute too!)

I have a truckload of companies against which I have personal boycotts because of anti-male advertising. Can't wait to share them. :)

I can't participate tonite (things to do with my son...), but I have two thoughts: 1) Someone please take notes and post the list; it might be nice to include a rationale, if it can be kept short; 2) Remember if the final list is TOO long, then there will be no focus. For example, if we were to include all of the companies who make or sell toilet paper, then life would be difficult, wouldn't it?

Good points, Frank. Perhaps it would be a good method of selection of we only included companies that have a history of being anti-male, with more than one instance to focus on. Of course, if the particular case is extremely inflammatory, it could be included even if it were the first offense.
I'll enable logging in my IRC client, and a "transcript" of the chat will be available on request by e-mail.
