Rosie O'Donnell Promotes Fatherless Families

Fatherhood Not PC sent in another story, this one about Rosie O'Donnell, an outspoken talk show host who has recently started helping adoption agencies give children to celebrity single mothers. And it's specifically for single mothers, married ones or single fathers she will not work with. The second half of the article attempts to refute O'Donnell's work, and demonstrate that she will be directly harming children, especially young boys, by promoting fatherless families. The article is from WorldNetDaily News.

I don't even know where to begin with this one, except to wonder if these unfortuante children are going to be nothing more than fashion accesories for these apparently self-absorbed women. Do they really believe men are that disposable? Are they willing to fly in the face of all the statistical evidence, or do they believe it is enough to have many male role models [assuming they care about that sort of thing] instead of an actual "dad"?
Or do they believe that they will be the exception, and that they will have enough love in their hearts to make up for the fact that there is no father figure?
I'm sorry, but when these people seem to actively ignore the best interests of the child and the fact that they, the children, still need a dad, even if these women have decided they don't need a man, I'm not hearing a lot of love there.

I just wanted to make another point, and that is that no man I know would dream of choosing to raise a child alone, without a mother figure, although there may be exceptions.
Another thing: the fact that the women mentioned are all well-to-do and can afford, financially at least, to raise a child alone, just proves what most men who frequent this site already know, that the perception exists [and is perpetuated by these women.] that men's value is as a wallet and nothing else.
