Woman sits on boyfriend's toilet for 2 years

This situation redefines the word "weird". Excerpt:

'Deputies said a woman in western Kansas sat on her boyfriend's toilet for two years, and they're investigating whether she was mistreated.

Ness County Sheriff Bryan Whipple said a man called his office last month to report that something was wrong with his girlfriend.
...
“She was not glued. She was not tied. She was just physically stuck by her body,” Whipple said. “It is hard to imagine. ... I still have a hard time imagining it myself.”

He told investigators he brought his girlfriend food and water, and asked her every day to come out of the bathroom.

“And her reply would be, ‘Maybe tomorrow,”’ Whipple said. “According to him, she did not want to leave the bathroom.”
...
“She said that she didn’t need any help, that she was OK and did not want to leave,” he said.'

The man is being questioned for "allowing" this woman to sit on the toilet for two years. She didn't want to leave, didn't want to get up, didn't want the cops to pry the toilet seat off, said "I'm fine here," and the man's to blame.

What is it about the cops that they don't see what's bloody well in front of them? An obstreperous woman wanting nothing to do with getting up, and it's the dude's fault.

Growl.

She spent almost as much time in the bathroom. And I always thought she looked worse coming out, than going in.

She spent two years mentally logging every germ and speck of dirt in the bathroom, so that she could eventually come out and complain to her boyfriend about his cleanliness, with irrefutable evidence to back it up!

There are two types of people a cop can encounter - a man, or a woman.

If the cop encounters a man, he has in front of the irresistable opportunity to argue with, inflame, and then aggressively restrain or even beat a man to "bring him under control".

If the cop encounters a woman, he has in front of him scenes of duluth models, the victim status of women, feminist lawyers, and lesbian judges. He must carefully think through the possible repercussions of each precise movement and statement that he makes during the entire encounter. He has as his chief goals the desire to avoid embarassing his department or getting fired himself, as well as the appeasement of radical feminists and the ignorant bulk of our society. Thus the encounter with the female holds much more complexity, and potential for danger, than that with the male.

Hey you can lease a Porta-potty like all the construction workers use for way less than adding a second bathroom!

Just a thought.

In case any of you gentlemen cannot dislodge a female from your toilet seat.

You already know the punchline, right (when she finally stands up...) --

"Baby does this toilet seat stuck to my ass make me look fat?"

Wherever she went to eat beforehand, you definitely don't want to try to chili there...

This article is a testament to how women care too much about what others think. Obviously the woman refused help because she was embarassed. She would rather throw logic out the window, and stay stuck instead of facing the snickers and grins of those called in to help. This same mentality is what also makes a lot of women shallow when it comes ot choosing a boyfriend or husband. Sigh... a lot of women out there need to grow up.

That is truly sick.

And truly brilliant.

I think Jon Stewart should hire the entire MANN crew and just rip it up!

She obviously DID have a psychological problem, perhaps was psychotic, and thus probably cannot be totally blamed for her own actions. Not that her boyfriend should necessarily get in trouble (we are not given enough to go on in the article regarding this), but the illness should certainly be an overall factor, in my opinion.

No doubt that viewpoint is going to anger some people here, but the one's who get angry do so in part because they have become over-zealous in their propensity to totally blame the woman, and totally excuse the man, for each and every single topic posted on this board. There does come a time to put the brakes on the anger and rage, at least long enough to carefully consider a situation and see that psychological illness (in either the man and/or the woman) can play a factor.

She obviously wasn't "all there". But seriously, I don't see how the boyfriend can be blamed for any of this. It's not like he put superglue on the toilet seat. In fact, he brought her food and water. She would have starved to death if it wasn't for him.
