Article: "Hillary Plays the 'Gender Card,' Again "

Article here. Excerpt:

'Hillary Clinton has made clear she will insist on the nomination even if she trails in elected delegates, and Obama’s side is sure to be furious if the “establishment” rips the prize away from its candidate. Whoever emerges the bloodied victor will face a daunting task of reuniting the party and defeating Republican John McCain in November.
...
On the morning of the New Hampshire primary, feminist Gloria Steinem added fuel to the “identity politics” fire by arguing in a New York Times op-ed that American women have suffered more political and economic discrimination than American black men.

...
Steinem’s historical arguments threw down a gauntlet to a bitter debate over who’s the bigger victim, blacks or women.

American blacks could reasonably cite their experience with generations of slavery followed by generations of brutal segregation in making the case that giving black men the vote after the Civil War was relatively meaningless.
...
After her New Hampshire comeback, Clinton insisted she would never play the “gender card” – even as she continued playing it.

“You have a woman running to break the highest and hardest glass ceiling,” she said in a Jan. 13 appearance on NBC’s “Meet the Press” before adding: “I don't think either of us wants to inject race or gender in this campaign.”'

... the mind boggles at what she will promise those people in exchange for their vote. It will be much uglier than watching sausage get made.

If The Hidebeast actually does win this, which I still think she won't, good God, the actual main bout-- what can that look like? What will it look like with either The Evil One or Obama against McCain?? Yet more boggling...

Hillary cannot win the delegate majority by any reasonable math at this point, unless she tries to rig primary replays in Florida and Michigan (disqualified states because of violating party rules), or by resorting to bribing the Super-delegates to overthrow the popular sentiment - which would destroy the Democrat party.

Having said that, there is no doubt in my mind that Mrs. Clinton would be willing to do all the above in order to be elected.

And I truly hope her campaign has not infiltrated Obama's secret security team.

Hillary's losing so she is willing to appeal to FemAmerica's pro-female/klan-like nature. Gender/Victim politics will get her some votes no doubt about it. Women will hear this and flock with their pussywhipped men to the booths and vote for Hillary in order to overcome the mythical "oppression of women." Or maybe this time we will be surprised? I don't know. I think gender will win out, America is too hooked on women.

If women do vote for Obama -- which they say some are doing -- it's because he's promising them even more entitlements.

Having said that women use the same tactics over and over and over again.

When women feel they aren't getting enough of what they want they don't improve themselves. Instead they result to lying, manipulating and falling back on victim politics hoping that society will be stupid enough to simply give women anything they want regardless of whether they earned it or not. We have proven that we are "stupid enough" to do what they want.

It has already been shown that the last two states were dumb enough to believe women's claims of oppression and thus hand this fool(i.e. Hillary) the vote.

Let's see who else will buy the extremely fraudulent claim that the most affluent group of people in the world(i.e. Western Women) are actually worse off than what is arguably the most oppressed group in the world(i.e. Black Men).

NOTE: Black women do not count in the "most oppressed group" since they are women and not men. See Black Misandry.

At this point, it is clear that Hillary is trying to game the system.

And that idiot Howard Dean, Chairman of the DNC, has been bought.

You are going to likely see some kind of Democrat version of three-card monty on 76th street in NYC, to re-do Florida and Michigan -- where the entire nomination becomes a swindle.

If that happens, McCain will be the next President.

Because even I will have to vote Republican for the first time in my life.

I recall a PBS documentary on the 1960s civil rights movements. The part about black oppression went into detail about how emancipation from slavery in the 1860s was followed by a hundred years of Jim Crow laws, being denied a meaningful vote in the South, and lychings of blacks for minor infractions like looking at a white woman, or not leaving town after sundown. Then they went into the women's movement. Their oppression was being asked to make coffee for the men of the counterculture.

There was no sense of irony in the PBS show.

All I have to say about her is that she needs to get laid or something. This woman is the lowest beast in our society.

Not really. Just don't vote. (or vote for Nader, if you don't mind supporting a guy who started a war).

Every time I hear a woman make the claim that women have suffered more discrimination than black men, it makes me laugh. The idea is just plain ludicrous. I suppose Martin Luther King should have been a feminist instead of a civil rights leader!

I think Steinem is just mad because for once society isn't holding the black man down, but in her imagination, women are being vicitimized yet again. I mean, it has nothing to do with the fact that Obama is more charismatic and intelligent. No, it's cause Hillary's a woman and she's being discriminated against!

Wow... seeing that Steinem spews so much bullshit, I hope she puts on a lot of perfume to cover the smell.
