Michelle Malkin: "The Death Cry of Gloria Steinem"

Article here. Excerpt:

"Behold with me the politics of gynocentrism. What a depressing and desiccative sight it is. Just look at Gloria Steinem.
...
American women are the freest, wealthiest, most educated in the world. They are liberated enough to choose someone for president other than a female candidate out of uterus-based loyalty. This should be viewed as progress, not heresy. But the old-guard feminists — the "ruling people" — deeply resent this independence as they cling to what's left of their power base and their shrinking absolute moral authority card."

I've seen here from time to time on cable news.

She's an ultra conservative. Probably a female version of Rush Limbaugh.

Politics aside: she's also a tough wench

Her comments are concise and well written.

Hilliary is a joke. She and her Aging Boomer Skank Supporters are idiots. Gloria Steinem must be senile. Her statements make no common sense. Let me get this Straight. This Bitch who is a Whore and a degenerate Liar. Impugns a Naval Academy Graduate, Decorated War Hero. And Hilliary is more qualified because... She has a Vagina. Somebody tell this Whore to STFU.

I read the Gloria Stynum (oops) thing online a few days ago, before the primaries in Ohio and Text, etc.

My initial react was "gawd...why can't that old cow just go somewhere and die?"

I doubt we'll have such luck anytime soon. She's living on pure spite and venom.

Depending on how it suits their purposes, women will either:

1)Claim that the early feminists were about "true equality" and the movement has been hijacked by radicals;

or, the converse,

2)Do as Malkin is doing and claim the "old guard" is the problem, rather than the newer "enlightened" feminists.

Any woman who can invent a new label for aging old-bag feminists as clever as "gyno-saurs" is a girl I would love to meet!

Malkin may be a fourth-wave feminist but from this article you can't tell. I'll have to do some research about her.

She comes across as a woman who is tired of the feminist old guard's victimization rap and she has moved beyond it.

This is the female demographic that Hillary is losing and Obama is wooing.

Whether Malkin would give up her seat on a bus to a man is unknown.

"I've seen HERE from time to time on cable news."

EDIT! "I've seen HER from time to time on cable news."

I offer a sincere apology to those that despise an edit.

Regarding my above post, it might mainly depend on the age of the feminist as to which argument she uses. For example the one's from the 60's and 70's probably say the movement has been hijacked..unless they were already radicals, or have become radicals such as Steinem, and thus are enjoying the way things are currently going.

That article was great! Michelle is just the type of woman the world needs more of. She's smart enough to see through the BS and propaganda. And I agree with Roy, the term Gynosaurs was very clever. It made me laugh. Beauty and brains! Michelle's got it goin on.
