I wonder if someone could access records to find if there were any similar cases but with men pouring the water on their girlfriend? I have heard of the women pouring boiling substances on their men, I wonder what sentences were handed out for both sexes? It would be interesting to find out how this case ends up, and what the woman will have to serve, if any time at all.

...of female domestic violence. That was the least detailed, shortest story cover horrific domestic violence that they could possibly write.

No names or pictures of the brutally violent woman, no details about her motives.... please don't tell me that the police don't know why she did it since they say she confessed. If she confessed it is almost 100% certain that she detailed to them exactly why in her mind he had it coming. Women are taught to feel entitled to lash out violently and thus do not hide their motives. She likely detailed every slight she has ever had to endure in her entire life at the hands of a male and used the diatribe as justification for hospitalizing this man.

The thing is the police probably agreed with her and she'll get a little counseling further reinforcing her already ingrained belief that 'it's not her fault' and then she'll get some probation maybe.

the man on the other hand will get abso-fucking-lutely nothing and be left scarred and traumatized for life. God help him though if at some time down the raod he can't cope with the pain any more and so much as yells at a future girlfriend if he ever works up the courage to date a female again.

Ever see a story so short and devoid of detail about a man hospitalizing his girlfriend?

It would be rare for a man to attack a person in who is sleeping.

Women tend to use sneak attacks, poison, weapons, and other people to fight for them to over come their smaller physical stature.

If a man had attacked his girlfriend in her sleep, he would be DOUBLY vilified as not only a brute but also a coward to attack a person at their absolute most defenseless. I

n other words, it would be seen as 'unmanly' and therefore open season would be declared on him.

All she has to do is play the "abuse excuse" card and she is home free. If Mary Winkler can get a free pass on an obvious murder by saying she was forced to wear ugly shoes and a K-Mart Halloween fright wig during kinky sex....well, you know the drill.
