Newsweek: He's Dead, Winkler Free. What's Up With That?

Essay here. Excerpt:

'Mary Winkler is a free woman—free of her abusive marriage and free of jail. After 67 days in a mental-health facility in Tennessee, Winkler was released earlier this week and has returned to her hometown of McMinnville. But is she free of the posttraumatic stress disorder and depression that her legal team said drove her to gun down her preacher-husband, Matthew, last year? ...Winkler's critics wonder if she ever had PTSD in the first place and say the diagnosis was just a means of getting off easy.'

free of her ALLEGED abusive marriage. The whole thing was a circus act to manipulate the current system to get away with murder. With all the resources available to her, she could have easily gotten out of that marriage. She could have played the courts like a fiddle with unprovable accusations (probably using the same ones she did in this trial) and walk out of the marriage with the house and half his paycheck from now until eternity. Instead she shoots him in the face while he sleeps. Is there no protection from the system for a man with a wife?

That's why marriage = death for men. Women KNOW that men are getting smarter and that's why the talk about women needing "wives" is now popping up.

No man in his right mind would officially marry in this feminist CUNTry. I think it is better off if men stay away from women until women learn how to fucking act. Only deal with women that have a brain which means you will be wading through ALOT of dumb women(99%) to get to that 1% whom actually think for themselves.

as the comments on the original story this post links to are about 460 and extremely heated on both sides of the issue.

My feelings as a man and an MRA are obvious, the sick bitch got away with cold blooded pre-meditated murder. Scott Peterson sits on death row, Mary Winkler gets a shot at getting her kids back after an extremely brief timeout on the naughty bench. Scott claims innocence, but sentenced to die on circumstantial evidence - is he guilty no on knows, that's the whole deal with circumstantial evidence. Mary on the other hand righteously claims guilt in the case, and so the jurry and judge let her go.

Wierd how it works in practice - Innocent until proven guilty. Can't really prove guilt for a male, it's death row for him anyway. Woman freely admits guilt, gives some bullshit excuse - PTSD from an event that occurred years prior to her ever meeting Mathew Winkler (the death of her sister) - and she's viewed as having the right to kill him in his sleep because he liked adventurous sex and poor Mary's sister died when she was a kid.

Don't men suffer from severe depression and anxiety? Obviously that means nothing. Apparently a mans much higher rate of suicide is irrelevant. Postpartum has been elevated as the most severe form of mental illness. Why? The reason is simple...it affects women. The hypocrisy stinks!

Yeah, but why do all that when she can just have it ALL right NOW. LoL. This is just another case of how things are getting worse not better. These women now see that they don't even have to go to court to get what they want over a long and drawn out process. Now all they need to do is kill, spend a few months in a nice hospital. Get a diagnosis and then go home to the kingdom she now rules.
