Of course boys are doing great, they are falling behind their sisters. That's essential for the matriarchy to take over. So, in conclusion, nothing to see here move along.

Seems clear to me, that this article is designed to show how well boys are doing in SINGLE family households.

One of the biggest issues we as fathers are trying to show, is how damaging it is to a child when the father is taken out of the family. This article says the opposite.

At least thats my take on it....

The author towards the end of the interview states (paraphrased) that "when boys today are told to 'Be a Man,' it's difficult to know what that means. Are they supposed to be like Homer Simpson, Fifty Cents? There are no clear role models for masculinity..."

I would argue that forty years of feminism is directly responsible for the deconstruction of masculinity, because that's the flip side of the dominant ideology of the "social construction of gender."

When 30% of boys are being raised in single-mommy homes or post-divorce mommy-has-custody-and daddy-is-a-visitor households, how could anyone make a case that boys are fine?

When boys are legally mandated to attend institutions dominated by females (teachers and administrators, counselors and school psychologists) from age 5 - 17, is it surprising that women would, with completely "good intentions," create an environment hostile to boys?

It is interesting that the idea of same-sex classes at developmentally appropriate ages in K-12 has been so violently rebuffed by feminists.

You know, the fairer gender seeking equality for everyone?

Can someone not just come out and say that schools are now radical feminist bastions even at the elementary level. I was very disappointed in Dr. Sax's response.

Have you read the statistics on academic achievement, high school graduation rates, college/university enrollments by gender, retention & graduation rates for bachelor's, master's degrees?

Boys are doing great in one respect ...

they are great at disappearing from the bias and oppression of feminist-dominated education.

A whole lotta women with master's degrees are gonna be wondering why they can't find "Mr. Right" (read - high income career professional college grad) to walk them down the coveted aisle.

Young men are increasingly savvy about the Gender Wars, and very aware of their role as potential "prey."

Perhaps schools controlled by women will work to men's advantage, ultimately.

The growing Marriage Strike would seem to be one indication that men learn quite well in the face of gender fascism....

So very true. My 16 year old son told me recently that he never wants to marry. That was before I ever said anything to him about how dangerous it was for him. After he told me this, I explained a few things that would happen to him after he got married, especially here in California. He is against marriage now more than ever!

Same with 2 young men at my office, one in his early twenties and the other in his early thirties. They both have swore of marriage, and no they are not gay. Man, somtimes I think how much fuckin easier it would be if I were gay!

Anyway, your right on the money Roy. It is becoming clear to all men whats really going on, and whats cool about it is, we dont need to all gather together and bitch about females to understand it. Thats probly why we run things, we are strong individually and even stronger together, but it takes alot for men to all gather for a cause, but when it does you better watch out!
