Teenage Violence Linked To Later Domestic Violence

Researchers tracing the development of violent behavior have found a link between teenage violence and domestic violence. The study also found no independent link between an individual's use of alcohol or drugs and committing domestic violence. In addition it showed that nearly twice as many women as men said they perpetrated domestic violence in the past year. Story here.

"Individuals who have a history of anti-social behavior may be more likely to find a partner with a similar history and re-create what they experienced as children. They may also be more likely to be in places in their communities where they interact with people with the same types of behavior..."

This explains everything you need to know about Bush:Cheney and Washington D.C.'s psychological climate.

Two sociopaths enabling each other and calling it "Mission Accomplished" are applauded by wanna-be fawning narcissists.

Interesting. Here's a quote:

The study also showed a number of personal characteristics, partner characteristics and neighborhood conditions that increased an individual's chances of being involved in domestic violence as a young adult. Being diagnosed with a major episode of depression or receiving welfare were significantly related to committing domestic violence, as were having a partner who used drugs heavily, sold drugs, had a history of violence toward others, had an arrest record or was unemployed.

So drugs and poverty are related. How about that? Duh. reminds me of the Massachusetts study that showed that if you avoid hanging out with convicted felons your probability of being a victim of domestic violence goes down like a lead balloon. And yet the DV industry continues to blah blah blah about DV happens in all arena's rich/poor etc etc. What a crock.

Anyone know the cite for that Massachusetts study? Maybe it wasn't Mass??? I've been looking for it.

Concluding that women are as violent, or more violent, than men.

What does this make? Close to 180 academic studies showing women are violent?

Yet "our experts" are not allowed to testify before congressional VAWA hearings.

Mr. Biden. You are wasting your money running for president.
And you are wasting our money on programs such as VAWA.
