... I do concede that when it comes time to direct our attentions squarely at reforming the legal system that approach may not work.

When cases like this one are happening where the police are even thinking of arresting the guy who got shot, misandry may be to deeply ingrained in that system to have any hope that anything other then obliteration of the current system and a new one put in its place that is truly blind and holds everyone regardless of gender or socioeconomic circumstance the same.

The police say it wouldn't do any good to lock up Crystal Magnum, but in this case they want to wait until the guy who's been shot in the head gets better before throwing his ass in jail to save tax payers from having to foot his medical bills. Of course they are also giving tax payers a break by going extremely soft on the bitch who shot him and not even charging her with the crime, just some bullshit possession charge which will get plead away anyway.

Gee, a woman shoots her old man while he sleeps and she gets away with it? Now that is unheard of (Mary Winkler notwithstanding).

I just bet Ripley's new Museum Of The Weird would like to have the x-ray of his skull with the bullet in it because this scenario is so.....unusual.

Small vigilante groups here and there would just end up as more men in prison and murdered by the State.

While I admit that it may not be possible to reform the justice system and that it may be necessary to completely remove it and rebuild it, it must be a united effort from all MRAs and most non-MRA men who will see the benefits. That's the only way.

Small vigilante groups just get shot and/or arrested by the cops and the world goes on like they never existed. That's the way the misnandrist State works.

...but it may be the response that they will get if things keep going the way they are.

Note that I also don't think trying to "prove to women" that you care about them and are "not a misogynist rapist" will work either. That's just more pandering to feminine vanity and wasting time trying to prove to a monster that you are humane.

I also think that men should have the right to bear arms. If women want to shoot men they will have to be quick on the draw if the man is armed himself.

The key elements in a woman's psychology (note that I did not say "intelligence") are:

1) comfort with being a narcissist (this removes the need for any capacity to have empathy, i.e. feeling another's perspective)
2) infantilism/victimhood (this allows one to do whatever one wishes, and never be responsible for one's acts, choices, or the consequences of same...)
3) predatory guile (this completes the tool kit of #1 and #2 above - giving a sense of entitlement to exploit other people, especially men, as resources, fools, wallets, friends, husbands, etc. etc.)

The typical American female is a parasite, plain and simple.

She consumes much more than she produces, and exploits her host (usually male) until the host is depleted.

Then, she moves on.

This sounds like a screenplay for a horror movie, I know.

It is ridiculous. The problem is that these views are prevalent enough to give one second thoughts about joining a men's rights organization. Granted the need to denigrate women isn't universal among MRAs, but the vocal minority is just nasty and unhelpful enough to those of us who would rather focus on injustice than nurse a hatred of women, that there comes a point when it makes sense to work independently.

They don't ever want to anger--or say anything bad about--their masters; women.

Most people see that "the men/women/jews/foreigners/ppl with bald heads/... are our downfall" for what it is: crap.

We don't need to be "independent" though. Just a cleansing might be in order.

The tragic thing is that while radical MRA ramblings remain ramblings, the radical feminist point of view gets watered down and transfered into serious writings that convinces people even in regions of the world where, unlike in the US, having a 2m wide bumper sticker is not considered expressing ones opinion in a subtle way ;).
The especially wicked US style feminism could only successfully export certain laws and regulations because our opponents get the picture - compared to the radicals here who seriously think they won't remain one of the thousands of strange minorities found on the internet with what they write.
But as a matter of fact, they will. And thus continue to be about as significant and relevant as the proponents of the Hollow Earth theory.

It's the substance of the message that matters, not the way it's said. People may empathize with emotion, but it's fleeting. They may also be completely turned off, and that's not so fickle... it takes a long time to win back trust. But people do understand with reason... and that is what makes the most difference in the long run IMHO.

One more thing... it's completely possible to be direct, honest, truthful and relentless; without resorting to hyperbole, ad hominem attacks, or even exaggeration.

Emotion based arguments have their place, but it shouldn't be the norm.
