Fathers' rights campaigner is jailed in child support battle

Story here. Excerpt:

"A legal clerk who refuses to pay child support to his ex-wife because their three teenage sons spend half their time with him has been jailed.

Michael Cox, 43, a prominent member of Fathers for Justice, has failed to pay maintenance for 12 years because he claims the system is "oppressive, unjust and discriminatory" towards men.
...
Mr Cox is paid nothing for the time he looks after his three teenage boys, but the Child Support Agency demands he pay their mother £365 a month for the time they are with her."

Anyone know if he has any options or plans to appeal?
This could end up being a very important case if it gets enough attention (which I'm sure F4J will do their best to ensure)

Totalitarian "justice" systems, such as those in the U.S. and Canada, and apparently England, don't like getting it stuck in their craw that someone has violated the law. These governments must have someone punished, even though the consequences are worse for all concerned than in the pre-existing situation. I guess it is some weird version of "blind justice". Just think, these nazi-type systems started out, at least in the U.S., with the country's fathers rising up against an oppressive government (no offense to England old chap:)

It is not the business of the goddamned government to micro manage people's lives! The only interest the state has in children's welfare is that the bare minimum in support is being met. Apparently, in this case it is more than being met. Therefore the state can f***off! Isn't it odd that British soldiers are dying in Iraq so this crap can go on & on & on & on.....and on?
