"Men who have sex with drunken women risk being convicted of rape - even if they appear to have given consent.
Ministers will unveil the controversial proposals this week in a bid to boost conviction rates for sex offences and bring more 'date rapists' to justice.

If a woman is deemed to have consumed so much alcohol that she is incapable of agreeing to make love, the man would be far more likely to be convicted of rape."

Bright side of this
Well, the bright side can be found even here. At least a man who will abstain from having sex with a drunk woman will have an opportunity to sublime his sexual energy and libido into something more useful and meaningful than the sex with a drunk woman.

Women are pulling out all of the punches.
Let's see whether men will continue to coddle women and try to prove "men are not that bad" as opposed to be ready, willing and able to defend themselves against this nazi-like onslaught. Everyday they make more and more things illegal unless the woman deems it to be legal.
It's quite funny that the men here are calling EACH OTHER haters and misogynists here as opposed to wondering how men will survive in an increasing totalitarian structure. Men are now being hunted down because they had their VIDEO GAME characters sexually assualt a woman's character in an online video game. This is ridiculous and what is even more ridiculous is that men cannot get rid of the old programming that says blame--and attack--other men as opposed to attacking women.

What happens if the man is drunk?
Will he be able to charge the woman with rape? If not he is a victim of sex discrimination.
The Legal Infantilization of Women

Where are the feminists who should be screeching that by "placing heavy responsibility" on men, this law deprives women of power --- even the notion of choice, agency, and individualism?
The bottom line appears to be pretty much the same logic that we have in laws that require adults to protect children.
Women are now legally children --- defined as irresponsible victims of a more mature (i.e. always male) power/oppressor.
No woman will ever again be asked to justify why she accepted (i.e. CHOSE) to drink that fourth pint of ale.
Obviously, she was coerced.
And as to technical details ---
what specific documents, records, or artifacts would hold up in court when a man is accused of raping a female who has alcohol in her system?
Is a "pre-screw" form that she signs sufficient? Is it necessary to videotape the act? Is a bloodtest or breatherlizer required to document her sobriety? Would a sober voyeur/witness of coitus keep a man out of prison?
Are British internet pornographers behind this law?
Because criminalizing actual sex is going to be very profitable for the porn industry.
And this law will kill the U.K. pub culture because no thinking man will ever buy a lass another glass.
Already happened in some places
This is already law in the US military,Pretty much stopped me from going out and getting a drink with the guys after work just to many risks associated with a drink out on the town now a days.
Downside of the Bright Side
One immediate effect of this law will be that ugly girls -- you know, the 1's, 2's, 3's,4's -- will never get laid ever again.
Because it has always taken a whole lot of alcohol to get a man to bed these "two-bagger broads."
So, the law is not just obviously sexist towards men, but indirectly sexist against women already disadvantaged by their unfortunate genetic lack of feminine attractiveness.
My advice? My challenge to women (category 1 - 4) everywhere?
Ugly girls unite! March in your voluminous bovine masses (well, OK -- waddle, trudge, slump...) to get this vile law repealed!
Your future sex lives depend upon your support for the drunken sods who might find you desirable at three a.m. in Islington!
And you 5's through 6's ....
it could happen to you too! You are borderline now under this draconian law.

I'm afraid not, Roy... Women are being made immune from the law in the Feminist West.. That is a very different thing to being "infants" before the law.. They are being treated truly as a ruling elite who can do or say whatever they like and face no consequences for anything..
An infant is disciplined, decisions are made for them, they are not autonomous.. They are not in control of the show and cannot determine their destiny.. Women are on a level far greater than this..
Infants cannot do whatever they want; women in the West can.. A very big difference..
