Woman retracts claims of abuse after boyfriend passed over in the NFL draft

Article here:

'Linebacker A.J. Nicholson was waived by the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday, hours after he pleaded not guilty to a charge that he hit his girlfriend. She insists she accidentally hit herself with a cell phone, and police misread what happened.

Nicholson was charged with misdemeanor assault Friday, and despite his girlfriend's claim the case will go forward. He remains free on $5,000 bond and a pretrial hearing was set for May 31.

"I was very emotional and I was mad at A.J.," Johnson said. "Like a lot of other couples, we had been arguing. But I am to blame here. I exaggerated the situation. The police officer misinterpreted my upset and emotional demeanor."'

Once a charge has been made, it *cannot* be withdrawn later, even if the woman tries to do so. I call it the "future mind-reading" theory..the authorities "know" a woman would only withdraw the charges out of fear. That is when fucked-up lawmakers make a law that presumes a certain conclusion.. then judges and the police have to follow that law. Of course the police are happy to do so, since it gives them another reason to aggressively restrain and mistreat men - the police are amoral and are not interested in "right and wrong" per se, they will "enforce" whatever laws are out there; the more laws the better. And judges will never challenge the shithead feminist ideologues who have caused such laws to be created.

Laws such as this can only exist in a totalitarian or neo-totalitarian state. There is a reason that this is more or less synonymous with "police state".

Yup.

I became acquainted with that little law. In spite of evidence and the woman's unwillingness to press charges, that didn't stop the DA's office.

Who needs a "clean" record anyway?

Methinks the girlfriend recanted only when she realized that she was endangering her meal ticket.
