In Webster, Texas, a 25-year-old mother with a history of drug abuse says she woke up and found that her miniature eight-pound, dachshund had torn off her baby boy’s genitals. (The woman’s name is being withheld by the family, and she hasn’t been charged yet.)

Police, child protective service officials, and the doctors who examined Holden told his dad that the injuries were not consistent with dog bites because the cuts were too neat. The only person who knows what really happened - Holden’s mother - has checked herself into a drug treatment program and is not talking to police or family members.
On a positive note, the father, who has not had any contact with Holden’s mother since the attack, says he is dedicated to the baby’s recovery and to making sure Holden is safe and happy for the rest of his life."

But, we're not here to hate on women, and nothing I'm saying here is against women. Heck, if you can commit a crime of this magnitude and use the old "dog ate my..." excuse and get away with it, more power to you. Of course that's the point - WOMEN HAVE A TREMENDOUS amount of power, even more then men. The point is not to hate women, the point is to achieve a balance of power between the sexes and EQUAL TREATMENT UNDER THE LAW.

Possibly No Jail Time
Since this attack took place in Texas this female criminal has a very good chance to not serve any jail time at all if her defense team plays the "not guilty by reason of temporary insanity" card.
It has been played recently in Texas at least four times and was successful for these murdering moms. These monsters did not just do a mere "John Wayne Bobbitt" on their son's genitals they killed them! And rather brutally I might add.
So, to hell with TEXAS!

I get your point, but still, using 'a mere' with regards to the John Bobbit is lending credability to those who do find the male genitalia to be an object of loathing and disgust.
It's about time a penis stopped being a disease that infects and destroys the soul of anyone it touches (the feminist point of view on the matter).
Maleness, male bodies, male genitals etc ARE NOT inherently dangerous, disgusting, or in need of modification.
Could you fathom any set of circumstances in the USA that a male could alter an infant girls genitals to the point that they are no longer able to function and it not be labeled both a hate crime and a sex crime?

What exactly is the nature of their relationship, i.e. were they even in prison or psych ward together? The reason I am asking, is that I read somewhere a while back, that Yates had been "coaching" a woman on how to use the insanity defense. Shlosser might be that woman..?

Reading Between The Lines
A "mere John Wayne Bobbett" was hyperbole and sarcasm.
I called the woman who did this a monster and that is the worse word of description I could come up with at the time for her.
But that aside; something to watch for tomorrow is the sentencing of Mary Winkler in Tennessee. Remember she is the preacher's wife who shot her sleeping husband in the back. She was found guilty of "mere" voluntary manslaughter which could mean she has the possibility of being released on time served and placed on probation. If this happens see if she regains custody of her three daughters she terrorized on the morning of the murder by taking them on a bizarre road trip to the Gulf coast with the murder weapon (a shotgun) in the back of her SUV with the kids. These girls heard the shotgun blast that killed their dad. Something that will stay with them the oldest two anyway for the rest of their lives. And to think they may be forced by the state to go live with the killer!
Her defense should be easy
In fact, if and when she gets an attorney, she should insist that this simple statement be entered officially on the record:
"Your Honor, my client has committed no crime. There's no law against male genital mutilation."
It's a shame, but she probably could literally use that defense. I don't know how it would fly in court, but if our courts and laws are truly consistent, what crime can she be charged with? True, the bitch should have her genitals thoroughly mutilated before they hang her sorry ass, but if she were to make such a defense claim, it would definitely make news and bring to light the inequality young boys are forced to endure when the law protects female genitalia but not male.

Yates and Schlosser were both found not guilty by reason of insanity and sent to the state psychiatric hospital until they are deemed no longer nuts and can be released back into society with no criminal record btw.
They are the last I heard were roommates in the hospital.

Personally I am against the death penalty altogether, but if there is a death penalty then it should definitely be reserved for the absolute most heinous MURDERS.
And vigilantly justice sounds nice but it NEVER leads to a good outcome.
Advocating people be murdered for causing grievous bodily harm is not the answer.

It sounds like Mr. R. is advocating too radical an agenda. I can really only think of one or two valid reasons for the death penalty, like if some prisoner even when he is in solitary confinement, is able to kill prison guards (believe it or not that is possible); or maybe a terrorist at the level of Bin Laden if captured, and he is still able to issue orders to kill. Also I think in the latter case, psychological torture such as sleep deprivation would be allowed to coerce him into giving vital information, especially to prevent further attacks. (Nuts such as we periodically hear from, who complain about prisoner treatment of terrorists at Gitmo or other places..I am wondering why these people never come forward when Americans are being held captive or tortured in other countries, or even in U.S. prisons? That is an example of how extreme liberalism can lead to the development of a kind of sickness, and perverted behavior, like how somebody wanted to pay for a terrorist to go to Yale recently. Or how some fuck-up such as Amy Goodman raises the issue of Hiroshima immediately after the 9/11 attacks).

When he first started posting here he was complaining that he had started several Yahoo groups 'opposing feminism' but failed to get any members.
I see now that it's more likely that he failed to gain members because he was not opposing feminism but promoting revenge against individual people for the wrongs of the group they belong to. Just another hate monger.
