Zimbabwe: 'Promote Circumcision in Acceptable Manner'

Story here.

"Acceptable manner" is simply a politically correct way of saying "lets manipulate this culture with propaganda". Excerpt:

"There are many socio-cultural issues surrounding male circumcision that need to be addressed in order for it to adequately contribute to HIV prevention. It is, therefore, important that promotion of male circumcision be promoted and delivered in a culturally appropriate manner that minimises stigma that may be associated with circumcision."

Remember kids, the best prevention of AIDS is abstinence...but if you want to have sex, be sure to wear condoms. Oh and a magical surgery called circumcision will be just as effective!!!

Absolutely sickening. We're still in the dark ages, rational thinking isn't yet prevalent in spite of all these bold claims.
How can anyone overlook the facts that 1. this mutilation reduces pleasure and 2. because of the desensitization, men are less likely to use condoms?

I keep wondering what's happening in this world.

They overlook those facts because men simply don't matter in our societies, n.j. We're bred to live and die as voiceless slaves and hate objects so our pleasure, happiness and comfort are therefore completely irrelevant.

There are plenty of places where women are suffering terribly en masse as well for no reason other than their gender. As a human rights activist I'm just as concerned about the lives of those women as I am about the lives of men, but in the western world it's men who need assistance. Sadly, people who give a damn about men are even fewer and further between than people who give a damn about women in countries where they're mistreated.

Just answering your question.
