Why no mention is that whole article of this woman's sentence or upcoming sentencing hearing? Shouldn't she be locked up for this? I mean this is one of the worst cases I have ever even heard of in my life and I think this woman deserves to be locked up for a very long time and never be allowed near another vulnerable human being again.

Just incredible how horrific the abuse was that she inflicted on these children. Women can be orders of magnitude more sadistic in the forms of abuse they inflict on their victims then men.

Or at least that will likely be the feminist spin. She was abused as a Jahovah's Witness so that's why she abandoned her nurturing, loving, caring, enlightened feminine nature. I saw this story in the UK. She hasn't been sentenced yet, but I'm sure when she is, she'll be going down for a long time.

...in the UK (if that proposal we were discussing is passed). It's not like these children or others need to be protected from women like her - they're really all just victims of the patriarchy, you see, not the woman. She was only acting in self-defense. It couldn't possibly be that this woman's an evil monster. Only men can be monsters. That's why society doesn't need women's prisons. It all makes perfect sense now. I'm sure the male foster child caused all this, or some other man in the poor woman's life. She's the real victim, you know.

Besides, I'm sure this nice old woman will benefit far more than she would from a lengthy stay in prison by attending a court-suggested visit or two to a nicely decorated community center where she can learn about how oppressed she is, how she's the real victim in every situation, and how the evil patriarchy's taxes can used to help her overcome the countless disadvantages of being a white woman in the western world.

That way they can lock up the real monsters in society, all of whom are male of course. Women only offend when they're forced to do so by the patriarchy.

I've seen kids removed from better-kept homes than hers.

...and her devout religious status helped a little I am sure also.... after all a religious WOMAN would never abuse a child right? I mean just ask the kids in Catholic private schools if the priests or the nuns scare them more and you'll have the answer.

Haven't you heard yet that women are the caring, gentle, nurturing, virtuous sex yet? We all know that's complete BS but social workers go through years of cognitive reprograming to believe that whole heartedly.
