"Oprah's School" in S. Africa Earns Prison-like Reputation

This doesn't surprise at all (infact, something I expected). Oprah's ego is so massive, she apparently rules this school with an iron fist.

Class Schedule:

8:00 am....The pledge of allegiance...to Oprah! (keep in mind there are pictures and paintings of Oprah in every classroom)...The 100 foot statue should be completed within in a year

9:00 am....Sociology 101: Why men suck, and why we should force circumsition upon them.

10:00 am...3 minute break to utilize the bathroom facilities.

10:03 am...Math 101...Caculating how many Weight Watcher points Oprah uses daily.

11:00 am...History....The history of Oprah. Everthing else she doesn't approve, is taken out of textbooks. Essentially history began in the 1980's (when Oprah began her talk show)

12:00 am..Lunch...a glass of Slimfast and rice cakes

1:00...Women Studies....Why men have ruined the world and absurd statistics to suggest 1 out of 2 woman will be raped or beaten by men.

2:00....Oprah appreciation hour.....arts a crafts dipicting pictures of Oprah as God. Theological discussion on Oprahs' upcoming Bible

3:00...Science 101...Essentially teaching there are no biological differences between Men and Women.

4:00 pm...Must attend and watch the Oprah show while kneeling. Must also memorize the entire transcript or face 100 lashes from a steel belt.

5:00pm...One last Oprah prayer...school bell sounds....girls must march out of class....(ie: Nazi syle)

While I originally chastised Oprah for having an all girls school and ignoring boys, I've since changed my mind. The boys will prosper if they stay away from Oprah's re-education system.

Now I understand why she's the Big O!

It's funny how I am just now noticing this story, as 5 minutes ago I heard something about Oprah on the E! channel (which I of course NEVER watch).

What I heard, that is supposed to be #65 or so of "Hollywood's 100 best kept secrets", is that Oprah was abused as a child (surprise!). I'm not sure why they're calling this a secret, because apparently at some point in the past, she came forward and claimed she was sexually abused by several men, all relatives, at various times during her childhood. During the "coming out", she also asked members of the audience to share stories of their own abuse. Maybe she hyptonized herself, then self-planted false memories.

This lady is a total disgrace, even by media standards. Though I have always thought that, I have been scared to say it in the past because everyone "loves her", and because I would be called a racist and/or woman hater (say something bad about a Black women = double jeopardy, nay, sacrilege). Her show is worthless, one-half step above Jerry Springer (who to his credit, does not pretend to be respectable). One time she had Warren Farrell on, talking about how it is not funny when men are hit by their wives. According to Farrell, the audience seemed to take this viewpoint seriously..until another male guest started talking about how his wife hit him over the head with a frying pan - then the audience roared with laughter. That tells you what kind of people attend her shows.

Then there was the incident, where some boutique in Paris would not let her in after they had closed..so she raises a big stink about this being racist. She is a nut. She reminds me of Barbara Walters, in the sense that a lot of people seem to think she is respectable, whereas she is not (and never has been. I guess that is an issue for another day, but in a nutshell: Baba WaWa flirts with mass murderer dictator on live network TV; later says it is okay for an abused woman to cut off her husband's penis; wraps up her honorable career by being on a show, where she has a catfight with someone named "Star Jones". What a loser).

P.S. More media in the news: Bill Maher (sp?) was on Larry King Live tonight. I sent him an email (to the show,) asking him if the following anecdote (which I saw in one of Farrell's books) was true: one of the producers of "Politically Incorrect" in the 90's, told Farrell he could not be a guest on the show, because it is TOO politically incorrect to question the doctrines of feminism (check it out for yourself - I think it is in "Women Can't Hear What Men Don't Say"). Of course King never got to my email, and they never repeat the phone number on-screen it seems, so I could not call.
