Women's anger: "it's genetic"

This article gives women the ultimate aliby - "it's genetic" when they are angry, abusive, catty, bitchy, murderous? Excerpt:

'Not your fault

The results counter some common beliefs that women are to blame for their hostility. And genetic tests for anger could help predict a woman's likelihood of other anger-related diseases.

"Aggression and hostility are predictors of hypertension, glucose metabolism and heart diseases," Halder said. "The genetic marker we found for hostility also may be useful for predicting a person's predisposition to such diseases."'

Our society blames men and only men. That's why we're in the mess we're in. When women (in general) start accepting equal responsibility for themselves and their actions, they'll be astounded at how quickly they're regarded as real equals. Until then, they'll be viewed largely as spoiled, privileged children, whether they are or not.

Just another Catch-22 femidiot bit of "research."

Where was this scholarly ammunition when Harvard University was selecting its next (radical feminist) president?

The ratio of men:women with I.Q.'s above 120 is --

190-to-1.

That is a frightening statistic, if you're Kim Gandy, or one of her supplicants, of any chosen "socially constructed" gender.

Lots of things are genetic..one advantage of being a human being, is that we can exercise some level of control over our instinctual urges. For example, if men acted purely on instinct, they'd all go around screwing every good-looking woman in sight, and not settle down with just one woman.

This is going to give any woman who reads it, an excuse to be hostile..as if we need more hostile women.

Get this:
"The results counter some common beliefs that women are to blame for their hostility"--Is this not one of the most insane strings of morphemes you've come by in long time?
One more responsibility waived by the adult children that women seem to be sadly becoming. Their integrity must be almost whittled away completely by now.

Just a thought: wouldn't it be more plausable for there to be an anger gene in men? Years of evolutionary role playing and socialization/enculturation would seem to favour the emotion of anger in men. For instance, the many wars where men fought as meat bags for the economic gain of a minority of aritocratic men and women, and the protection of society at large, anger would have been a selected trait for success.

This also reminds me of some study or studies that came out some years ago claiming that raping women was a natural, i.e. "genetic", thing for men to do.

A brief glimspe at the 2000s Woman: "the genes did it, the genes did it", she says standing above her bloodied husband she just whacked with a stick. "oh no, ahh [ponders her many options] no, this was PMS, no batterd woman syndrome, no post-partum depression....oh wait, I know it's a commonly held belief by some that women are able to kill men, but it was actually the responsibility of my hand; it's a fact, a study by feminists proved it" and it goes on. She looks at a four year old boy and then leaps behind another man (for unpaid bodyguard protection), "oh no, oh no, I small child! keep him away he might sexually harrass me!"

Damn, I'm starting to become embittered now, and angry, but I don't have a gene to blame so I better shut up.

With all this poison so freely flowing into the social sphere, I certainly won't, cannot, shut up.

The pscychology on the surface of this, seems to MRA's and other respectable people to be, "women now will have an excuse to be hostile/we can't blame it on them". But in addition to this, there is a more subtle yet deeper psychology going on here, the existence of which is a powerful indicator of the different ways in which we look at men and women:

When researchers find out any one of men's negative traits is due to genetics (or on any other factor), the tendency is to say "now we know why men are so agressive" (for example), i.e. why they have that "problem"; we men are ourselves condemned for having the problem..it is as if people have yet another impetus for considering men to be evil. In sum, the emphasis is placed on the badness of the trait itself.

Whereas when one of women's negative traits is found to be due to genetics (or on any other factor), the emphasis tends to be on explaining away the behaviour..there is more energy invested in the "now we know why", i.e. more interest expressed in the cause and what this means, rather than the trait or behaviour itself.

The fact that women are then deemed not responsible for the behavior, is in a sense merely the outcome of the above thinking (not that women are ever held responsible for bad behaviour anyway..whether it be the result of genetics, socialization, mental illness, rage, stupidity, or what have you).
