The whole article is extremely soft on her. No fear mongering graphic details at all about the crime. Very clinical and brief, listing the charges but no elaborations.

They list all of her accomplishments and tell her story to make us feel sorry for her

All the comments are positive towards her and supportive of her innocence.

Heck, she's still employed at another school.

I am all for innocent until proven guilty and I do not believe any names should be revealed in sex cases until after the verdict is reached.

I just have never seen a story about a man accused of sexual assault written in such a glowing, positive and sympathetic way. In cases involving men there is usually graphic dictions of the acts he is alleged to have done, the usual fear mongering, and crap loads of inflammatory buzz words to stir up the righteous fury in the reader.

Just another double standard that benefits women that women seem happy to ignore on their quest for 'equality' with men.

Guaranteed if she gets found guilty she will not be sentenced like a man either.

This guy "Chad" writing the article, must think he is writing for the sports section. He goes into an incredible amount of detail, and at length, of this coache's won-loss record, records she set as a player, etc, etc. I have heard of reporters defending women criminals, but this writer is some kind of wierdo.

Also, get a load of this from the article:

"The Diocese learned of the sexual abuse allegations (Dec. 13) and
immediately notified the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office," read a
statement released by Joanne Ward, director of the office of
communications for the Diocese of Metuchen. "We offer our prayers for the
alleged victim, her family, Ms. Balogh, and all others who may be
affected by this matter."

Why didn't the screwed-up "Dioceses" offer their prayers for the priests accused of misconduct with children a while back? Leave alone for a male criminal who commits the same crime as this Balogh character?
