Social Isolation, Depression

A topic recently discussed in a syndicated story is the increasing social isolation that typifies living in "modern society." It leads to problems all by itself and exacerbates existing problems, most notably those that can be addressed at least in part by the company of others (for example, depression).

Isolation and depression impact men in particular ways and for a variety of reasons. So, be on the look out for the effects of isolation and depression and if you spot it in yourself, do something about it: get help, get more social, whatever you need to do.
