Woman arrested, suspected of domestic violence scam

'A woman has been arrested in Palo Alto for accusing several men of domestic violence, having them arrested and robbing their homes, according to Mountain View police.

Sunmee Kim, 44, was taken into custody by Mountain View police detectives on Thursday (June 7). In January, Kim is said to have claimed that her fiance attacked her in Mountain View, but refused to give officers her full name or contact information. She also went by a different name at that time, police said.

When officers met the man Kim had accused, he said they were housemates, not romantic partners. He was arrested, but later released when police determined he had not committed a crime. But while he was in police custody, Kim allegedly cleared out the house and left, police said.'
