NYT on the NY Marathon: Every year, the women win

Article here. Once again, the NY Times repeats the news headline. A woman won the race. But the man only won the men's race. Excerpt:

'In an extraordinary race of one, Mary Keitany of Kenya ran to her third consecutive victory on Sunday in the New York City Marathon, finishing completely out of sight of the rest of the field, in 2 hours 24 minutes 26 seconds. Pulling away from her rivals before the 10-mile mark and never needing to look back, she covered more than half of the course entirely alone.

The men’s race was won by a 20-year-old Eritrean, Ghirmay Ghebreslassie, who pulled away from a tight pack of three at Mile 20 and blew kisses to his onlookers as he won in 2:07:51. He is the youngest winner in race history.

Ghebreslassie was followed by Lucas Rotich of Kenya in second (2:08:53). Abdi Abdirahman, a Somali-born American who is based in Arizona, finished in third (2:11:23). Abdirahman, 39, is almost a generation older than Ghebreslassie.'

The Times strikes again. There are 2 races being run in tandem in the NY Marathon: the men's race and the women's race. There is of course the matter of who crosses the finish line in the shortest amount of time.

By trumpeting the winner of the women's race as the winner of "the race", it implies to the casual observer that the women's race winner beat the men's race winner in time.

But that wouldn't be true, would it?

The person with the lowest time to finish was in fact the men's race winner, not just this year but every year the race is run.

The NYT wants to create this false impression in people's minds because it has been taken over by feminist ideologues who need to live in their own world where women actually do finish marathon races in shorter times than do men. They need to lie to themselves to make themselves feel better about themselves. Quite overtly. But these same ppl will accuse men of lying to themselves about things related to sex.

Maybe some men do that. But we know by evidence such as this that some women do for sure. And they work for the NYT.

"We can try to understand The New York Times' effect on man."
-Bee Gees "Stayin' Alive"

The New York Times, along with many other mainstream media outlets, has bought into the whole divisive feminist agenda that seeks to empower women at the expense of men by portraying women as victims and/or superior, and men as abusers and/or inferior. It's really getting old and it's alienating a lot of men. But the MSM doesn't care as long as it promotes material and advertisements that pander to the female demographic that makes most of the purchasing decisions. It's a similar phenomenon with politicians pandering to the female vote over the male vote as the women's vote is larger.
