AmEx commercial pulled off air due to MRA complaints

In a previous posting, I reported on an American Express commercial showing a female guard at an airport putting on rubber gloves in order to search a man. I complained to Amex and their advertising arm Mindshare World. The commercial has been dropped and according to my source it may be do to other complaints besides mine. Thanks to all who did complain. It's good to know that there are people who will listen to reason.

Those man-slapping BK burger ads are gone too. Now she just screams at the guy instead of whacking him around. Another ad has the same theme but they replaced the woman with a man. Guess the idea of a man slapping a woman over the same issue was so unbelievable that they *had* to change their man-whacking ad.

Yeah, will there be any female BK fury victims any time soon, I wonder?

Yeah, I think SPIKE TV needs to review there ads, especially since there programming is aimed at males yet all there commercials show man hating women dissing men. They need a wake up call too. But great job I sent some e-mails when Glenn Sacks puts them up on His site.

I was one of the ones who complained. I spoke with a woman named Sandy. I'm glad that some companies hear what their customers and potential customers have to say.

No doubt a preponderance of high-end Am Ex card carriers are upper-level high-status males - the company did not want to insult these members of the patriarchy, and lose big bucks. The advertising department simply wasn't connected to the business end on this one..that department being staffed mainly by feminists and manginas, as it were.
