F4J to Lead Numerous Organizations and Family Members in "Justice March" through Washington, D.C.

Forwarded by Angela Pedersen:

"WASHINGTON, D.C. - Fathers-4-Justice announced today that they are leading numerous organizations and family members in a "Justice March" through Washington, D.C. on August 16, 2008. The origination point of the "Justice March" is scheduled to launch from the DC FESTIVAL 2008 Civil Rights Event at Upper Senate Park and continue to the United States White House. (http://www.dcfestival2008.com/)

Children's and Parent's Rights organizations from across the nation are scheduled to converge on our nation's capitol this August 15 & 16 at the Upper Senate Park. Why? Because government policies do not reflect what is truly best for children and good parents. This historic event will expose to the media and our elected officials the damaging effects our family court systems have on children, parents and families.

The "Justice March", which is just one of many featured events of DC Festival 2008, will be led by Fathers-4-Justice with the support of numerous organizations which believe that fit and willing parents have a protected right to love, guide, educate and nurture their own children. "No government office or family court judge should have the power to interfere with fit and loving parents raising their children; however our constitutional right to parent our children is being blatantly ignored." states Brian Holladay of Fathers-4-Justice.

August 16, 2008 3:00PM EST - The march will start at Upper Senate Park and head through the National Mall between Independence and Constitution Avenue . Turning right at the monument built to honor one of our nations fore fathers, George Washington, the column will cross Constitution Avenue and head for the White House following Fifteenth Street.

don't know what F4J is or what it is about. mostly
due to a lack of media coverage, by design.

getting our point of view out is critical, especially now.
candidates who won't at least acknowledge our grievances need to be
brought to task. feminists will come out from under all sorts
of rocks to discredit the profamily message we espouse.

i too wish you all well and wish i were able to join you
in these peaceful demonstrations. God Bless You All.

Unfortunately I live in Canada. But I wish F4J all the best in their march for justice in D.C.

Speaking of the lack of media coverage, I think that it would be nice if someone had the balls (no pun intended) to create a man's television station that dealt with men's activism issues.
