Mike Ditka speaking out about men's health issues

Menstuff.org reports that...

"The Ditka you will see will be older, wiser and a little out of character. He will implore the millions of men 40 and older in the NFL's audience to prevent the things that caused him to have a heart attack at age 48 in his coaching prime with the Chicago Bears.

Ditka is spokesman for the NFL's health education campaign called "Tackling Men's Health," which is being launched today (www.tacklingmenshealth.com)."

Dumb Stereotypes Take Hope Out of Boys Hearts

SMH journalist Andrew Block, who publicly states an interest in men's issues, wrote...

" John Marsden, the best-selling adolescents' fiction writer, and author of the non-fiction books Secret Men's Business and The Boy You Brought Home, said, "Teenage boys are among the most maligned group in our society ...

"The media portrays them as either drug-crazed, illiterate, unemployable, suicidal, failures at school, sex criminals or vandals. So adults tend to treat them more suspiciously, and that causes them [unconsciously] to become angry or frustrated or alienated."

The Advertising Standards Bureau, one of the few organisations that measures complaints about stereotypes in the media, reports a steady increase in the percentage of men (now more than a third) complaining about advertising, and their most frequent complaint is about sexual discrimination."

Embarrassment

thrudd writes "Sometimes, I am really embarrassed by my Alma Mater. Parents this is how your money is being spent on your sons' (daughters' education) !! "It is a rare class at Brown where the syllabus includes pornography screenings and a fieldtrip to Miko Exoticwear. Female anatomy as well as sexuality, body image, masturbation and contraception are all among the topics addressed in the female sexuality workshop offered at Brown this semester." http://www.browndailyherald.com/stories.asp?show=1 &storyID=1350"

Mercedes murderer to get joint custody.

SacredNaCl writes " Houston Chronicle
"
A judge on Monday granted Clara Harris, serving a 20-year sentence for
running down her husband with her Mercedes Benz, joint custody of her
5-year-old twin sons. The boys' paternal grandparents were given visitation rights.

The agreement approved by state District Judge K. Randall Hufstetler in Brazoria County names Harris as well as her former neighbors, Pat and Ana Jones, as joint managing conservators of Brian and Bradley Harris. The boys' grandparents, Gerald and Mildred Harris, will have visitation rights every other weekend, for extended periods in the summer and on alternating holidays, said attorney Lloyd Stansberry, who represented the Joneses.""

Man wins sexual harrassment case

A Chinese man wins a case in the courts claiming a woman harrassed him severly over a period of years. It harmed his marriage and his day to day life. At the bottom of the article it explains that "Victims, often women, also shy away from filing lawsuits for fear of losing their jobs." I would like to make a statement regarding their propaganda and that is. "Victims, just as often men, also shy away from filing lawsuits for fear of being ridiculed, emasculated and not believed". Most of this contraversy really just fills lawyers backyards with big pools, but whatever. The Article Here

Feminist disquiet at "imbalance"

Doctor Damage writes "It seems that feminists don't much like it when the boot is on the other foot. In fridays courier mail Margaret Wenham reports During brisbane hearings by the House of Representatives Standing Committee on Family and Community Services, the committee members were, it seems, hostile to the notion that 50/50 joint custody was a bad starting position. It seems conservative politicians have learned from the example of their more liberal peers. Warning for non Australians: Here in the land of Oz, the Liberal party is our major right wing party, although I'm still a little fuzzy on how the left managed to appropriate that label"

DNA To The Rescue...AGAIN!

Luek writes "http://www.jsonline.com/news/state/sep03/169169.as p

Here is a story about Steven Avery a man who was wrongly convicted of rape and served 17 years before DNA proved his innocence. He is the 137th innocent victim of the feminist promoted rape hysteria to be released by DNA.

When he was arrested he was the father of 5 minor children. It will be interesting to see if the misandric state of Wisconsin sues him for back child support. The bastards would probably do that if Mr. Avery justifiably sued the state for his 17 years in the belly of the beast."

States Differ on College Fees in Divorce

The Las Vegas Sun writes...

"States are all over the place on this issue," said Sandra Morris, president of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. "In many situations, it's very tragic - the divorced parents don't do what they would have done if they had stayed together, and the children are pretty much cut off (from any support)."

"Judges need to listen more to how it makes a father feel when a kid says, 'Don't ever call me, I don't want to speak to you, here's my bill for $20,000,'" Boc said. "It drives people crazy."
