Women as Homicide Bombers

frank h writes "I'm sure the hard-liners here will find some column by this columnist that will seem to speak ill of men. No matter. This piece addresses the growth among Palestinians in the number of women as homicide bombers. No longer can the feminists claim that terrorism comes exclusively from men."

Unfortunately I've yet to see a major media outlet mention the existence of even one female terrorist. They still think Aileen Wournos was the world's first female serial killer!

Battered Men? Battered Facts

P. George writes "Does anyone want to help me with this article? I'm not sure who to believe when it comes to statistics, I'm not good at math and even though I'm down with some mens issues I'm also skeptical. It doesn't mention how battered men quite often have no one to go to for support. And since it's obvious this author had to do some research on this topic she/he/it had to come across the argument that most men don't even report being battered. I didn't get the feeling that this person even cares about men. I've never got that feeling from feminists. Also notice the quotations around "battered men". Can anyone give us an argument against the article? Thanks."

Ambiguous Genitalia & Orthodox Feminism

Michael Wright writes "Study: Genes may trump nurture with intersex kids

Orthodox feminists and "queer" theorists are fond of saying that "gender roles" are purely the outcome of "socialization" by the "heterosexist patriarchy."

One of the most notorious advocotes of this line of trash thinking and ideological mish-mash is the lunatic Andrea Dworkin, who advocates a vision of "pansexual androgyny" which will do away with the recognition of any significant distinctions between males and females. The myth of universal bisexuality is incorporated into this nonsense, but it even goes beyond that, since the notion of bisexuality does at least presuppose that there are differences between males and females.

For debunking this nonsense, the most interesting evidence from the news article about ambiguous genitalia is that eight of the 14 males raised as females later declared themselves to be male, and six of them said they wanted to undergo sex-change surgery to gain penises. All 14 had some male traits: They had trouble interacting with girls (but not boys), and they reported little interest in playing with dolls or playing house."

What Do Women Want?

Ye gods and little fishes! Check this out.

Now they want to be supported by men who go out to the battlefield every day to earn a living. The women want to stay in their pretty houses with their children and to take vacations in France -- and maybe to boff that hot, young landscaper. (Hey, he's good genetic stock.)

I was in a bar a few weeks ago, and I met a woman at the pool table, when we became partners for a game. She told me she had recently graduated from the University of Colorado and she was depressed because she had to go to work as a school teacher. She had wanted to get married and have a couple kids and be supported by a man with a good profession. (I didn't preach anything to her. I just enjoyed the wildness of her fantasy.) She didn't strike me as particularly bright, or a particularly good conversationalist, and the only reason she was the least bit attractive was because she was still young.

Why the hell, I thought, would any man want to marry her and have to slave his ass off to support her and her kids, while knowing that, even if her kids turned out not to be his, he'd have to continue to support her (even if they divorced) and her children, with no assurance of ever seeing the kids. (I think maybe I needed a question mark at the end of that sentence.)

To put it mildly, the genie's out of the bottle. I doubt men will go for this in large numbers. Frankly, I think all these idiot books, by and for women, are just marriage, mortally wounded by four decades of feminism, morbidly displaying its death throes.

Target Stores Weekly Ads

Raegan writes "Twice in January Target stores weekly advertisements have had statements for sale items such as MOM & BABY Stock up for your new life together and MOM & BABY Savings for you & your little one too. I feel that this advertisement and statement is disrespecting fathers suggesting that only mothers do the shopping, especially for baby.
You can view one ad this week at Target.com weekly ads"

A Sample of Women's Studies Courses

TLE writes "Have a look at the Gender and Women's Studies offerings from the University of Illinois to get an idea what young women are getting stuffed into their heads. Where are all the men's courses? Where are the seminars offering critical thinking? Doesn't Title IX apply here? I wonder if the general public knows how far this has gone?"

Well, it's not like anyone who teaches these courses would know anything about critical thinking.

The SCUM Manifesto

Skippy writes "I ran across a copy of The Scum Manifesto by Valerie Solanas on the Web Site of Sweet Briar College where it is treated as just another "woman's voice".

The wildest rantings of the angriest MRA are pretty tame compared to this document, but it is very interesting. Most people dismiss Solanas as some kind of far out kook, but if you can desensitize yourself to the misandry long enough to read and comprehend it, and interpret it in the light of what has actually happened since it was written, you can gain new insight into the feminist game plan. If you have ever been mystified by some new attack on men by a feminist newspaper columnist, the manifesto may help explain what is going on."

The SCUM Manifesto is actually linked by many feminist sites on the web, and is required reading for women's studies programs in several major universities. It is very analagous to the worst of the Nazi's anti-Semitic rants, including a promise to annihilate all men. Lots of excuses have been made for the SCUM Manifesto, including that it was written as sarcasm, however that Valerie went on to commit attempted murder proves otherwise. If you're not already familiar with the SCUM Manifesto, you should probably go have a look.

Update on Glenn Sacks's David & Goliath campaign

zenpriest writes "From an email from Glenn -

Last Sunday evening we initiated round 4 of our campaign against our largest target yet--Claire's, which has 2,875 retail outlets in nearly a dozen countries. They sell hats, wallets, wristbands, socks and other products which say "Boys are Stupid--Throw Rocks at Them" and "Stupid Factory--Where Boys Are Made." The next morning hundreds of you wrote and called Claire's to complain, and Claire's executives met Monday morning to decide whether they should continue to sell the products.

Apparently the result of that meeting was a decision to request that all letter writers and callers send Claire's their full names and mailing addresses so that Claire's could snail mail them a response. I speculate that Claire's did this to gauge our true level of support. Perhaps they believe that our campaign is really the work of a few individuals with a bunch of different e-mail addresses. Also, I believe they are stalling in the hope that our campaign will lose steam.

As I said during my January 18 broadcast, I did not expect Claire's to give in as quickly as our three previous targets did, all of whom capitulated before noon the day following our broadcast. Please give them the information they requested so they will see the broad support our campaign has garnered. Also, urge your families, friends, and colleagues to get involved.

Also, while I'm touched that hundreds of you have joined our campaign, given the size of this e-list it is clear that there are many of you who have not participated. If this is because you disagree with our campaign then I'll respect your opinion. If not, then I urge you to join us. All information about the campaign, including contact information for Claire's, will always be available at Join Campaign Against 'Boys are Stupid' Products.

The campaign against Claire's has received some prominent endorsements and press coverage. and has made local news in Cleveland, Washington state, and others. There are major media outlets who have expressed an interest in covering our campaign, though if our action against Claireâ??s fails they probably won't materialize.

Some of you have been writing Claire's about "Boys are Stupid--Throw Rocks at Them" T-shirts. Please remember, as I stated in my broadcast and on our campaign page, Claire's sells many "Boys are Stupid" products but does not sell T-shirts.

zenpriest writing now: My position is that Claire's has already proven that they are not worth doing any business with in the future. They don't have the quality of people who would discontinue the products just because they are foul, but must have it proven to them that there are enough people involved in this campaign for it to really hurt them if they continue to ignore such people.

Let's show them how wrong they are, and see how much of a decrease in their business we can achieve by bad mouthing them to everyone who will listen."

Thomas writing now: Often people who lead boycotts don't threaten never to do business with a company in the future, even if that company desists in the offending behavior, since by making that threat boycotters make it clear that their actions will be the same, whether or not the offending behavior is stopped. As a result, the company has less incentive to stop. Everyone can decide for themselves, but I agree that Claire's has shown itself to be the type of business with which no decent person should do business at any time in the future. Unless, perhaps, every officer of the corporation is removed over this.

Propaganda In Arizona

hurkle writes "In the last couple days driving around Scottsdale, AZ, I have seen signs in the back of taxicabs reading, "Break the cycle of Domestic Violence" with a phone number, and the words "Men's Anti-Violence Network".

So I looked it up: website

Turns out it's an initiative of the Arizona Foundation for
Women, (kind of like how the sequel to the Vagina Monologues, about penises, was written by a woman) and filled with the same old tired misandric lies. I'm so disgusted, I don't even know what to do. No, that's not true. I'll try to gather some irrefutable facts, and send them a letter pointing out that men are not the only abusers. If it disgusts you too, please feel free to contact them and point out the truth."
