Father's Day Activism 2006 Begins
posted by Matt on 10:26 AM June 12th, 2006
National Coalition of Free Men MR writes "At the crack of dawn, before the sun even peeked over the horizon, NCFMLA activists took it to the streets of Los Angeles for Day 1 of "Father’s Day" week, 2006, protests. Big Truck Sign Yes, boys and girls in the land of stretch Hummers and tropical plants it's difficult to be noticed amidst all the glitter and glamour, but a humble attempt is still worth the effort if one Dad can be encouraged, or one misandrist judge's mind enlightened. Some say it will be a cold day in L.A. (it very rarely freezes in L.A.) before Dads ever see justice in family courts, but I say all the more reason to publicly call attention to their plight in prominent protest(s). Let the Father's Day protests 2006 begin, and may the plight of Dads truly become a front burner issue this Father's Day. "Happy Father's Day week," to one and all. Stay tuned for Day 2..."

I second that. Your effort doesn't go unnoticed or unappreciated.

Thank you both very much. Here are a few photos from today (Day 2) in an L.A. suburb, and in downtown Los Angeles.

Equal Rights for Dads

L.A. County Is Sexist & Hateful Against Dads
The gender feminist, L.A. Domestic Violence Council holds its meetings at the LAPD Academy

California has at least 31 women's commissions and none for men. Women's studies teaches that every man benefits from male privilege in a Patriarchal society. Yet, how many decent Dads have been driven from their families and homes by biased family court decrees and other misandrist, gender feminist laws, policies, and advocacy? How can our society even be called Patriarchal, when women comprise the majority of the electorate?

It must be nice to "opt out" of elected office, and/or the work force, for an easier life, then cry oppression and victim hood rather than face the true realities of life - realities wherein both men and women have oppressions. I guess if gender feminists were proactive, responsible and accountable they wouldn't be able to play the blame game, vilifing all males as criminals, miscreants, and oppressors. Gender feminism would be out of a job. Color me cynical:

Opps, make that "vilifying," not vilifing.

We got the 3rd of the supposed constitutional guarantees on the truck sign today, EQUAL PROTECTION FOR DADS . It's parked on the street as we speak. Total hours so far for Truck #1 - 33. Given the mentality of gender feminists in our state I wouldn't be surprised to pick up the truck this evening and find a condom draped over the radio antenna.

After parking Truck #1, I walked home and fired up Truck #2 and parked it in front of the L.A. County Constituent Services Center in Van Nuys, L.A. COUNTY IS SEXIST & HATEFUL AGAINST DADS .

I got to that spot around 6 A.M. The meter only allows one hour parking, but that restriction doesn't begin until 8:00 A.M. so at 8:00 A.M. I put a quarter in the meter and set there until 9:00. I had a very comfortable and enjoyable time reading a couple of books for 3 hours. Total hours for Truck #2 - 8.

Yesterday, as I was driving Truck #1 home I stopped by Van Nuys City Hall and took this picture, EQUAL RIGHTS FOR DADS . You may recognize the front of this bldg. from the movie, "The Mask," starring Jim Carrey and Cameron Diaz. The bldg. was portrayed as a police station in the movie.
