There is no excuse for this. They can look all they want, he was murdered period. She should pay the ultimate price in accordance with the state laws applicable in that state. If it were a Man that shot a Woman in the back he would fry, so should she.

"There have been no specific accusations made by Mrs. Winkler."
Thus far, that is, however, when she begins to get the support of the feminist movement doubtless she will have been a long tormenented soul - who had no option but to shoot him in the back !

This husband killer is custom made for playing the "abuse excuse" card to get out of jail free.
Young, good looks, 3 young female children, religiously oriented.
When her trial comes she just has to cry a little. Then elaborate on how she was a mentally and physically abuse wifie (no paper trail or abuse really needed) who was brainwashed by her childhood fundamentalist religious upbringing to obey the patriarchy represented by her fundamentalist husband and accept her womanly duty of servitude to him. Hey, she walks! Probably get the Oprah Winfrey medal of honor too!

I'm waiting for someone to say "He is in a better place now." Along the lines of their religious orientation! Some of the parishiners have said that he was very charismatic, how much you want to bet that the murderers defence uses that?
