News frank h writes "Just so you know, "honour killing" is not just for women. Check this out:

A UNIVERSITY student was murdered to 'vindicate a family’s honour' after he fell in love with their daughter and made her pregnant, a court was told yesterday."

I would bet a hundred bucks (and I am a cheap bastard) that the whole honor killing thing is soooooo over blown.

It happens once in a provence somewhere in all of asia, and by the time the story gets to the city the story says a hundred women were killed. Then a feminist gets hold of the story and now it is ten thousand killings. Then the mass media in the US gets hold of the story, and every woman and girl in India and Pakistan were killed four times last year in an honor killing! One woman was killed six times in one week!
