Tell me why this is not a surprise.
Someone needs to talk some sense to her finace. By making the incident look like foul play (other than hers), knowing that he would be the prime suspect, shows what she REALLY thinks of him.
I understand that these two are the only ones who have heard their Miranda rights over this matter.

Nice to see another lovely couple getting rewarded for bamboozling the media....
Wait and see. Wilbank's "dumb" fiancee will be revealed as the brains in this outfit, who plotted out the entire scam all the way to the Hollywood pay-out.
The local cops who wasted thousands of tax-payer dollars searching for her are pissed.
She has offered to pay them back for the overtime wages.

All I know is that if there is a made for TV movie, I will not view it. In addition, I will find out the advertisers sponsoring the movie and boycott whatever goods and services they provide. Obviously that will have little overall effect, but it least it will make me feel like I'm doing something to say "bullshit to this"!!

And since the "entertainment" media can never do a piece that would make a woman look bad,(especialy when she is) They will re-write the story so that the fiance is an over bearing, abuseive jerk, or a clingy, needy sot that "forced" this poor woman into the situation. Wait and see.
If they do that I would not be the least bit shocked.
In fact, I'd be more shocked if they DIDN'T do it that way...!

This is what inquiring minds want to know....
Who should play the Runaway Bride?
I vote for Jennifer Tilly.
She's dumb crazy, talks a mile a minute, has the rack, and that "deer in headlights" gaze.
As for the redneck fiancee?
I hear Michael Jackson is available.
