"Teen Action Campaign" Promotes One-Sided Views
posted by Matt on 08:55 PM October 24th, 2004
Domestic Violence Buddy-Rey writes " After seeing a TV commercial for http://www.seeitandstopit.org/, an anti-Domestic Violence group sponsored by the Ad Council, I visited their website, just to see what the whole thing was all about. It seemed pretty harmless, but then I noticed something. Out of two TV spots, one radio spot, and six profiles, not ONE featured a female abuser, or referenced a woman's capacity for violence, except toward female victims. If you’re as incensed as I am after seeing it, contact here."

I'm just going to pull up stakes and move to a private island where the reading of John Donne is forbidden.

"There are no innocent bystanders"

The above is one of your slogans, yet you perpetrate abuse on a section of society which is tanturmount to a Hate Campaign !

Like the NSPCC in Britain, you run a "Stop It " campaign, well I am asking you to STOP IT.

The NSPCC's own data reveals that 65% of all child abuse is done by women, yet despite this, their advetising always shows a male as the perpertrator of any and all abuse. That you should follow this hatefull lead, is to demonise men unjustly - indeed it demonstrates an illegal level of prejudice and bigotry, quite apart from demonstrating to the world your ignorance ! or is it truly wilfull ?
