It always amazed me how a certain ex-prosecuter's eyes flared with rage as she talked about Kobe Bryant. I remember the 1st time they referred to the alleged victim using the "alleged" word. Even after this was mentioned she was still referring to the "alleged victim" as "the victim."
Clearly, we need a "falsely accussed sheild law" to protect us from the prejudice of people who do not respect the "innocent until proven guilty" mandate in our laws.

It is important for everyone to know that rates of false rare reports are about 2%. This is actually lower than most false report rates for most every other crime (about 8%). Perhaps the reason this phenomenon does not get frequent media attention is because it occurs so infrequently.
