"It's very hard for the kids. Their fathers have died and their mothers are in the lock-up," Gupta said.
Awwww, we better get those moms out quick for the sake of the children, huh? Perhaps more "hard for the kids" than their mothers being locked up is the fact that their moms are murderers, worse yet ones who killed their fathers!!! But I guess the statement "Their fathers have died and their mothers are the murderers." doesn't distance the mothers from blame so of course it would be wrong.

The whole scenario of revenge or retaliation being had by hurting or killing someone other than the person you're mad at is sublimely ridiculous.
I'm reminded of a scenario that illustrates this perfectly. This was actually from one of Scott Adams' books, he of Dilbert fame.
Imagine that you have a dog that you administer electric shocks to once a day, every day. Eventually, this practice will result in your electric bill getting very expensive; so expensive in fact that you actually start getting angry at the dog.

Well . . . there was a Feedback box at the bottom of the page - did you send in a response ? I did, see below:
Sisters Shoot Husbands:
Of course, as everyone knows, it is 'only' wives that need protection from violent husbands. Exactly how many men's shelters are their in your country - compared to those for women ? Further, how much funding do men's org's obtain - compared to women's ?

Well, I hadn't sent feedback in, but with your encouragement I'll go ahead and do so.
By the way, what do you think of the idea of a weekly letter/email/feedback campaign? In addition to the normal feedback readers give on the articles we post, we could once a week post an article specifically for the purpose of generating feedback, encouraging those who send letters to copy them into the thread. If 5 people wrote letters most weeks, and an average of 5 more every other week, that alone would send nearly 500 letters per year, which is far more feedback than what I think this group sends currently and wouldn't be especially difficult for anyone to do. I've kicked this idea around a few times, but I think I'll need a few dedicated people to make sure they write letters and encourage others to do so to help it get going.

This story does infuriate me. The way the media reports it is saturated with anti-male bias. This is why I'm suspicious of those who insist that women are especially ill-treated in India. The media and women's groups tell us they are, but they're just ignoring anti-male discrimination and bigotry.

We all know that women who kill their husbands must have been abused. We just don't have all the facts yet.
Let's wait a little while for the popular blame-the-male tactics.
Notice that their is a hint of domestic violence in the article. It won't be long before we hear the trivial self-defense argument.
These women are innocent I tell ya! They are victims!
Warble
P.S. Those of you that know me are fully aware that I find women to be very violent, powerful, and devious. So, you will realize the absurdity of my statements.

These murderous women treated their husbands as mere accessories, like handbags. "You destroyed my Versace, so give me the gun. Now I'm going to destroy yours." They viewed their husbands as disposable property, nothing more.

These are actually the tip of Iceberg . It is not an exception as people would like to say. However women directly using weopons is rare since they would rather instigate someone else to do so. What has changed is the readiness of the press to start reporting such crimes. Offcourse the suicide rates of men show a jump after marriage while it actually declines for women . Can anybody explain that
