Liberty and Justice for All (except men)
posted by Adam on 09:04 AM June 29th, 2004
News Ray writes "Here is an important story about proposed legislation that could have a Draconion effect on men's activism as well as a stifling effect on free speech in America in general, Afraid to Say What We Think . This is yet one more example of the erosion of America's constitutional freedoms. It appears that soon it will be only men who will be allowed to be targets of hate crimes. This article proves yet again why Carey Roberts is one of the most insightful commentators writing on issues affecting men. I sent e-FAXes to elected representatives today, alerting them to the dangers of this unAmerican legislation."

I wonder how much longer we will have to wait for all male consentration camps, or a reasonable facsimile.

That's what prisons are, especially since the war on "deadbeat dads."

What this should make abundantly clear is that the femborg NEVER rests. Whenever they appear to be quiet, they're planning something BIG. They were pushing this bill since 1999! Who'd heard of it till now? One can only wonder what diabolical programs they're pushing this very moment, especially since they're flush with VAWA money and emboldened by their show of strength in Washington last April.

We'll most certainly find out if Kerry gets into office with more socialist in the legislature. It's bad enough to have Bush signing the VAWA law, it is by magnitudes worse to have an outright socialist.

1) I do not believe antifeminists will be prosecuted under the bill any time soon.

2) Nothing can vitalize our movement more. Angry Harry has written on it.

While I'm not aware of the specific wording, I have observed that it takes about ten years for new law to wind its way through the courts and get interpreted. So, we won't have any idea of the real impact for about a decade.

I sent Carey Robert's article to the Independent Women's forum (IWF) too, since Carey mentioned one of their members (Christina Hoff-Sommers) in his article. I asked their opinion on the legislation. They did comment on this in their letters section here: (Click) letters
