Domestic Violence Against Men Being Recognized
posted by Adam on 03:09 PM April 25th, 2004
Domestic Violence Luek writes " Here is an article about how slowly but surely domestic violence against men is being recognized in Britain. According to the article there are now 3 shelters for men in Britain but women still have something like 500+ devoted to them only. article here BTW: How many have contributed $ to the only domestic abuse helpline for men that I know of in the US at: No Excuse For Abuse"

Good for you Gregory! I have sent in two donations so far and will send in a third at the end of this week.

They have only gotten a measley $2K of the $20K they need to expand their facilities. The Pro Abortion Women's Rally in Washington this weekend probably spent more than $20K just for Porta-Potties!

There is also an organization in New Hampshire that is providing all of the types of services that the women's crisis centers offer to women BUT they offer it to men, actually they help all victims without prejudice. They have been doing this with no funding and offer all of their help for free! This organization has a 24 hour hotline for men in New Hampshire but to my knowledge takes calls from anyone in need. They are very professional and go to any court throughout the state of NH.
They also deperately need your financial support as well as volunteer support. They have also been trying to get funding but have been unable to due to prejudice against the fact that they help men who are victims of Domestic Violence! They have a website that also details their services and their intentions to open a men's shelter as soon as they can get funding.
If all men who are concerned about this would simply write a small donation check to these 2 worthwhile organizations maybe they could accomplish what they are trying to,be there for men when needed. We could all help support them financially while contacting our politicians to make changes for long term funding resources.
If there are men who own or run businesses they could maybe make larger donations while the rest of us can give what we can afford.
If we as men start to donate to programs such as these and stand together with them to bring attention and services to our brothers it will help!
The name of this other worthy organization is the Violence Intervention Program which is also the NH chapter of S.A.F.E.

Thank you for the recognition of VIP/SAFE-NH (Violence Intervention Program/SAFE-NH,Chapter of Stop Abuse For Everyone)and our efforts to provide services and support to men who are victims of domestic violence.
Yes, we could certainly use the help as well.Financially, there are few funders who even consider the plight of male victims as a worthwhile effort to support.

If men who were victims or men who care about equal access to men who are suffering abuse would simply send a small check of $10 per month,if that's all they could afford...with enough men doing it they could help us make an incredible amount of difference.

I invite men or those who care about male victims to e-mail us,call us,or simply check out our website and ask for a copy of our first Newsletter,so that they can see what efforts and what a difference we have already made.

We have a unique opportunity through our chapter affiliation with SAFE(Stop Abuse For Everyone) to be the model program for Domestic Violence Services for male victims across the country, ultimately in every State. We are also fortunate to have the first Commission on the Status of Men here in NH that hopefully will be able to help us express this need to the Government funding sources.

If men would only come forward and help financially support this effort so that we can survive long enough for this to all come together,I promise that their money will be well spent!

I am personally available for any inquiries either by e-mail,phone,fax or mail in order to help assure possible benefactors that this is a valid way for them to "Make a Difference" and "Take a Stand Against Violence" with us.
We are a 501(c)3 non-profit and all donations are tax deductible.

Domestic Violence is a human issue NOT a gender one!

Thanks for your support.

In a report of from the CA Attorney General domestic violence arrests of women rose by 392%, and this during a draconian witch hunt against men for d. v.

The rate of arrests increased each year indicating that indeed women are getting more violent. Why shouldn't women get more violent when the domestic violence industry teaches police that domestic violence is power and control patriarchy over women, and all men are rivileged patriarchs (and thereby batterers), and battered woman syndrome excuses every violent act of women against men, etc.? Couple all of that with the fact that the government funded domestic violence industry lies about the rate of male victims of domestic violence, trains cops and judges to profile men as batterers, trains domestic violence advocates to embelish domestic violence accounts and outright lie, etc., etc. and we can see that the wave of dometic violence in this country is really a wave of outright fraud comitted by government against men.

Oh, and let's not forget the famous Super Bowl Sunday Myth cooked up with the help of now California State Senator Sheila Kuhel. It says a lot about radial feminist integrity, when they say that it's o.k. to lie if it helps oppressed women.

It seems that the law industry is violating one of its foundation precepts when it comes to domestic violence against men and that is "the first order of business for the law is to make more business for itself." Logically there should be just as many government resources for men as there are for women since women do commit 50% of all domestic violence between spouses and even more so against children. But for some reason there are none.

Good comments Ray!

And let's not forget another insidious practice by predatory females...

It's increasingly common for a woman involved in a divorce proceeding (and recall that women file for over 70% of all divorces...)to make false allegations of domestic violence against her soon-to-EX.

In fact a woman's divorce attorney is likely to advise her to do this, especially if there is a child custody dispute involved.

The targeted man then has to contend with both a stressful and expensive divorce as well as being dragged into the maw of the DV Industry, where he will be vilified, presumed guilty, denied due legal process, and exiled to six months of expensive feminazi DV "treatment!"

When was the last time you heard an "equity feminist" make a principled objection to this pervasive discrimination against men?
