Ambiguous Genitalia & Orthodox Feminism

One of the most notorious advocotes of this line of trash thinking and ideological mish-mash is the lunatic Andrea Dworkin, who advocates a vision of "pansexual androgyny" which will do away with the recognition of any significant distinctions between males and females. The myth of universal bisexuality is incorporated into this nonsense, but it even goes beyond that, since the notion of bisexuality does at least presuppose that there are differences between males and females. For debunking this nonsense, the most interesting evidence from the news article about ambiguous genitalia is that eight of the 14 males raised as females later declared themselves to be male, and six of them said they wanted to undergo sex-change surgery to gain penises. All 14 had some male traits: They had trouble interacting with girls (but not boys), and they reported little interest in playing with dolls or playing house."

Any information about their ages? I hope they were fairly young, I have a hunch that folks like Andrea Dworkin would be the type to make the excuse that the only reason for the children's desire to be made male again was due to an increase in their Testosterone levels instead of their DNA.(Err... Were the Testicles removed on these kids? Or were they sealed up inside the bodies?)

Given that some of the persons apparently accepted the assigned gender as theirs and some did not, it appears that it is not possible to predict one way or the other what the "right" gender of a person is. He or she has to discover/decide that for him or herself. What is the rush to chop up these kids to make them "fit" into a gender? Is there even a facade of "medical necessity" attached to these decisions? And since when is not liking to play with dolls or play house a "male" trait? Who decided that, and what makes it male?
