I've heard the comments by Limbaugh, and I don't regard them as an attack on mne in general as I regard them as an attack on impotent journalists in the face of the likes of Hillary Clinton. Hillary never gets asked the tough questions, unlike her male colleagues of the US Senate; she always gets a pass. Why is this? The scary thing is, she'll likely get the same treatment when she becomes the Democratic candidate for the Presidency in 2008.
It doesn't take a very careful read to see that the author's agenda is liberal/Democratic. He is probably a feminist. Note his accusation that American men are trying to castrate women. What he's really saying to men is: "Don't worry about losing your job. It's being given to a woman, so it'll be put to better use than you had for it."

through the conscious analysis and dismantling of the norms and practices that undermine men's sense of their own value as parents
Instead of just talking about talking about it, let's do it:
1. Why don't men have any reproductive rights? Why does fatherhood legally amount to nothing more than a governmently coerced DNA test and forced payments of so-called "child support"? Abolish mandatory male payments for having sex!!
2. Why does the media ignore domestic violence against men, and why are only a few courages persons addressing this serious problem? Equal funding and equal facilities for male victims of domestic violence, NOW!
on and on and on and on .....

This essay by Adrienne Burgess, feminist "fatherhood expert" imported directly from Tony Blair's cabinet to Australia says enough to convince you that she's father friendly.
Don't believe it! She is not. She's part of the push to socially engineer men out of their jobs and into the nursery, so women can take over the work place.
Yes, she comes on all smiley and dad friendly, but read what she's really saying -
"...through the conscious analysis and dismant-ling of the norms and practices that undermine men's sense of their own value as parents, and that fail to equip them with the skills and self-confidence they must have, if they are to develop, and maintain, close and positive relationships with their children - from the cradle to the grave."
Start with - "undermine men's sense of their own value as parents" - Where's that coming from? Since when did fathers not value their own being as parents? I'm a dad and it never crossed my mind that I didn't have the skills and confidence to do a good job! It's all bulsh'!
She runs feminist fatherhood courses that brainwash idiots into becoming wet nurses.
And then - "if they are to develop, and maintain, close and positive relationships with their children - from the cradle to the grave."
What kind of rubbish is that?
Men have been successful fathers for hundreds of thousands of years. There wouldn't be the civilisation that we have today if that were not true. Think about it. Think about your own dad and grandfather. They may not have been saints, but I'd figure that most would agree that they have a positive relationship with them.
It's all feminist propaganda telling men they have to change their ways and become femboys and metrosexuals.
Men are men. Being a dad is natural. This smarmy, "I love dads" is a ploy. She's trying to con her way into your brain. It's the new feminist egalitarian way. It's a snow job.
Don't believe me? Check out her credentials on a Google search. Check out her history. She's feminist left through and through. One of the main corps!
And if she's a "fatherhood expert" then I'm a "motherhood expert". She knows nothing about being a man or a father.
Take care all, but please, read the fine print carefully and don't get sucked in!

Plz use a handle so we can rate your relative credibility plz. And, either way, thanks for the heads up. Also, I have noticed the same trend. Former hardcore feminazis who have toned it down or "rethought" their politics. When the reality is that their former arrogance is no longer tolerated nor condoned. Same shell game: "I may be a feminist, but I am not THAT kind of a feminist!" ... errr .. until she's pissed and uses every feminazi legislated male hating institution to rape your life.
