I was surprised to see in this article that 7 females have now been killed in combat in Iraq.

Men are now only approximately 98% of combat deaths and casualties.

I liked this quote from the linked story:
"Elaine Donnelly, an opponent of women in combat who is spearheading a petition drive on the issue, said she believes it's important that women not be put in danger of being captured and raped. Medical records indicate Lynch was sodomized while in Iraqi captivity but she has said she does not remember it.
"If we are opposed to violence against women at the Air Force and other service academies, why all of a sudden if violence happens at the hands of the enemy, we say it doesn't matter?" said Donnelly, president of the Center for Military Readiness, which claims more than 20,000 signatures on the petition. "That's a step backward for civilization, not a step forward."

What about all the horrors that men have faced and continue to face in war? There's nary a mention about that.
The time is long past overdue that militant feminists took their agenda out into the real world, and persuaded all those 3rd world, mean men of the validity of their agenda and just let us peace loving American men sit at home in our rocking chairs. Let the militant feminists fight the wars exclusively, unitl as many women have died in wars as have men. Call it a reckoning for historical gender discrimination against men in this area. Just my opinion. I wonder how women in the military feel about militant feminism?

I think the hypocrisy of that one statement is obvious even to women. I mean, if you sign up for military duty, you run the risk of capture, torture, execution, etc. I think even most women would agree even these days, which is why there seems little 'outcry' about these female combat deaths.
Then again, I wouldn't put it past the fem-bots to find some way to get female troops out of harm's way and into comfy staff positions that are safer, pay more, and have more room for promotion... sort of like how it's working out in the civilian world, too.

Ya know, if I had a choice between being raped and having my arms broken and then hung from them [John McCaine], being starved near to death, skinned alive [both to POWs in Japan during WW2], or being dipped into a vat of acid [political prisoners of Saddam Hussein] - I think I would choose rape. Somehow militant feminists regard rape as the most inhuman torture anyone has ever thought up. Uhm, sorry, I don't buy it. Yeah, yeah, it's bad and awful, I'm not pro-rape, but I think they need to quit pretending it's the worst thing ever - saying that a crippling gunshot wound to a man is paltry in comparison to a raped but otherwise unharmed woman is just wrong. I also don't doubt men are sometimes sexually tortured in wars, but like prison rape, it isn't nearly as important, because it happened to a male.
If I come across any women in the military I'll ask. I know what military wives think of it - let's say it isn't pretty.

The hypocritical part: If feminists insist that women get full recognition for their efforts in Iraq for the sake of inclusion - despite the fact that 98% of the victims are men, how come these same feminists (and PC media) deny male victims of domestic abuse because women have a greater percentage if victims? Domestic abuse is a ONE WAY street of fascist laws used against men that denies men even suffer abuse. Male victims do not get recognized.
This outlines just one aspect of the sexist nature of feminism and PC media outlets.
It is the US armed service men doing most of the work, fighting, rebuilding and dying. What does the media give us? Jessica Lynch. Images of females hanging out holding guns. Little real concern is given for the real loss of life because these casualties belong to the disposable gender.
