"Time to take up ranks and make our voices heard!!!!"
We really need to have a big membership drive and get thousands more men involved in the cause of men's rights/men's issues. I belong to the National Coalition of Free Men (NCFM). and invite others to join that fine organization. I also belong to the Equal Justice Foundation in CO, although I am not a resident of that state. Dr. Corry deserves our support. Are there any other men's organizations that anyone would recommend?

"After reading this, one begins to see the futility of chasing tyrants in Iraq when very corrupt and evil bastards are right here at home infesting our judicial system and destroying our families and civilization."
As Nick Danger once penned referring to women, "It's their country, let them defend it."

I agree 100%. From earliest childhood men are conditioned that way. Now that women are increasingly making up elected officials, when they chose not to "opt out," perhaps some day our government can send women to die in wars like they send men. I would have chosen not to go to Vietnam and be a part of the Tet offensive, but I was sent so I went (no choice, choice is a woman's privilege). I really, really wonder about a country that has always sent only men to combat, then blames only men for violence as if it's their birthright. There are no privileged patriarchs in combat, just men. Of course when a woman does show up in the combat stats she gets a lot of press, but to this day 99.9% of combat casualties and deaths are men.
Conditioning men to die in wars, or sacrifice their lives in other ways for the good of society (for the good of women and children), and redistributing men's wealth to women through d.v. laws, child custody laws, etc. is all a part of the bigger fundamentalist feminst (communist) picture. Teaching that men and heterosexuality are forms of oppression against women, is being taught in women's studies courses thorugh out America to this day. Time for everyone to join a men's rights/men's issues organization.

I couldn't even finish the piece without weeping.

After reading Dr. Reiser's fine and eloquent piece, I was moved to write him personally via his published e-mail address.
I received a grateful reply disclosing a few more details of his story and what continues to compel him to speak out about the injustices he and inumerable fellow men have suffered at the hands of the vile feminist DV Industry.
Dr. Reiser encounters the same range of reactions to his voicing of men's concerns that all vocal men's rights advocates are familiar with -- amazement, puzzlement, some support, an occasional pledge of solidarity, and unfortunately, not a little silence.
I encourage avid readers here at MANN to develop the habit whenever possible of dropping a brief e-mail "kudo!" to the Dr. Reiser's as well as all other courageous authors who are giving voice to a growing public presence and consequent awareness of men's issues!
A few appreciative "attaboys!" can make a real difference in letting our writers know they are performing a valiant service!

Roy,
Good idea. I sent the following to Dr.Reiser...
--------------
David,
Thank you for your efforts on behalf of men. As you said, one cannot believe the truth about the system until one has been through it. My story is similar to yours though not, objectively, as horrendous. As I'm sure you'll agree, it is difficult to compare stories objectively - each one is so subjectively devastating.
Were it not for friends and Prozac, I'm fairly
certain I would not have been able to take it. I was never a violent person; yet now I can imagine the most incredibly violent retribution without experiencing any guilt or remorse. For the sake of my son, I plan to keep it purely imaginary.
FYI: one of the tactics used by the system is the polygraph. In case you have not run across this site (http://www.antipolygraph.org/), I think it can be useful in men's fight to not be falsely incarcerated.
Again, thank you. Please keep up the good work.

PJ,
That site is an excellent reference. I have taken a polygraph test, told the truth, and failed it because of the trickery they employ. There is no doubt that these tests can be easilly rigged. Nobody, would ever take this test if they understood that it is little more than junk science.
For example the article notes, "...Perversely, the "test" is inherently biased against the truthful, because the more honestly one answers the "control" questions, and as a consequence feels less stress when answering them, the more likely one is to fail..."
The control question can take the form of a question like "...have you ever done anything that your parents would disapprove of?" The honest person will of course say yes. That is where the tester should leave the matter.
But no, they have your parents, boss, spouse, or whoever behind a one-way mirror and want to impress that person. So they will ask you what you did, and the honest person is tricked into confessing their sins with the false promise of anonymity.
Unfortunately, every human has imperfect recall. That is the trick that they rely upon. So, when the question is asked again during the actual test, with all of the exceptions (confessions) added, you end up lying because you happen to recall some other thing done wrong, but because of the long list of confessions you believe that you should be able to say no. The honest person will believe they are being truthful even know they know they didn't give a perfect list, and the innocent answer the question incorrectly because of trickery. They literally don't know that they should answer "yes" to having done things wrong that are not on the list.
The bottom line is that honest people routinely fail these tests because the tester wants them to fail. That is what they are being paid to do....get confessions from honest and innocent people.....
