Fatherhood jenk writes "FluMist has been running misandrist ads showing that a mother with the flu means the house falls into complete chaos with inept fathers. Here are some contacts, let them know how you feel.

Thomas writing now: Please note that, while I have a great deal of respect for Jenk, unless I saw the ad myself, any letter that I wrote would contain a statement such as "though I haven't seen it, I understand that you are circulating an ad depicting fathers as bumbling fools. Rest assured that, if I ever do see such an ad for your products, I will never purchase any of your products again."

I've seen thr commercial. It shows the women sick in bed while the man fumbles around not knowing how to do the laundry or feed the kids. It's true that the man is in his own work attire(shirt, tie, etc.) which at least can convey a message that he is capable in his own field and his reason for not knowing the housework is that his family role has been elsewhere. But the commercial still sends the very bad message that men aren't capable as parents or homemakers and that their role is to earn the bread, which has been a very destructive to fathers in divorce and custody matters (and their children, etc.). And FluMist of course would never show her fumbling around and clueless in her husband's area of work.
