What a bizarre interaction of laws. Prostitution is ok but oral sex is forbidden and the male will go to jail.

The girl is not being charged at all. What the hell is wrong with the world. If my buddy and I steal a television we are both going to come before the judge. We both will be charged with the crime. But, in this case, the girl will just walk free. There are 2 things NOT addressed in this story, but I am not surprised.
1) What lesson does this teach the girl. Commit a crime and you won't get punished.
2) What do you think will happen to a POLICE OFFICER when he goes to prison for a SEX CRIME? This is really what ticks me off. First off, cops are, in the United States, AUTOMATICALLY placed in protective cutody when they go into the prison population. That is a self-imposed exile of 23 hours a day in a lit cell totally isolated from PEOPLE. And we all know in what HIGH regard other prisoners in prison hold for sex offenders. He will have to be on guard for other prisoners against getting RAPED. Let me say that word again: R-A-P-E-D. And what is his future when he gets out? Anyone want to hazzard a freaking guess?
I am waiting for the right case to come up, but I am collecting information on men who are raped in prison and I plan to write a LONG post on the whole brutal process of how a man is turned into property and raped repeatedly and, unlike women who are "traumatized" by date-rape, are brutally used and beaten while in prison while having NO NO NO recourse.
Women think that men who get convicted of rape just "go away". (malicious sneer about one inch from violence) That is not what happens. These men are sold, raped, beaten, ignored as rape statistics and given no voice.
Isn't this the same country that CANED an American citizen for SPRAY PAINTING some cars? And this girl is just going to go on with her life with a "tsk tsk" and listen to MTV. Where is my shotgun!?

ACK!!!

You didn't have to go all the way to Singapore for this story bubba. There were two recent cases in the "Good 'ole U Esh of A" where the same thing happened. Don't remember the states involved (Alabama and Mississippi probably but don't quote me) a couple of guys were locked up - ironically, one for giving and one for receiving hetro oral. Eventually they were released on appeal but the laws were on the statutes in those states.

"The act by itself is an offence. It is not a question of consent or no consent. Even between consenting people, it is an offence,"

And yet, the person who technically preformed the act isn't getting any repremands?

As far as I get, the one using the mouth is doing the sex just as much as the one who isn't using it...

I believe it is a men's issue in relevance to the fact only the men were arrested and not the woman involved in the act.
