Reproductive Rights amperro writes "I found this article It is refreshing to know that the word is getting out about paternity fraud, even at Harvard! Still, we are not making progress quickly enough. Maybe men's groups all over the country should band together and persuade the media to blitz the airwaves with the paternity fraud issue."

This article is an excellent example of why Gray Davis has to go. The sooner the better.

Dear Editor,
I am writing to comment on the article by Luke Smith. I became a men's activist after I was falsely accused of rape in college. Most men in my postition feel the need to explain themselves after relating this. The school, as most colleges do, had a system set up that made it about impossible to defend myself. Lack of access to witnessess, denying me access to couseling, prepping members with sexual assault awareness training but with none for looking for false accusations etc. I even went to the local Assistant District Attorney and asked her to look into my case. It was a desperate gamble, but she told me that after reviewing the facts she would not be willing to charge me as she felt the charge was clearly groundless. Since then I have been a men's activist. I am not a father and have never been through a divorce. But after hearing the stories of other men who have been wronged I felt I should broaden my activism. I wanted to applaud Luke Smith for his reporting on the issue of paternity fraud. There is a lot of pressure from "feminist" organizations to prevent men's issues from being reported in a fair manner. Often men's issues are said to be anti-female or anti-child when most men's activists are interested in getting a fair shake from the legal system and more fair reporting in the main stream media. October is Domistic Violence Awaremess month. But the PSAs being put out are showing men beating wives and teaching their sons to perpetuate the violence. This ignores that almost 40% of the DV is commited by women against men. It also ignores gay and lesbian DV. This is, in my opinion, due to PC influences. DV affects all people: gay, straight, black, white etc. I thank you for taking the time to read this letter. Once again, pass on to Luke Smith my thanks for bringing up an issue that is important to families.
