What have feminist ideas meant to you in your life - has this changed over the years? Your personal stories? What are feminism's successes and failures? What's the future for feminism? In the second article feminists are crowing about being terrorists. These days rather than being funded through drugs they use your taxes to destroy you.

"Today, she would be on a podium, surrounded by supporters in an organised event. No doubt many of those men would be telling her what to do - go home and feed the kids. The courage these women showed was remarkable."

Interesting comment at the end of this piece. As I've been following feminism for a number of years I've seen how they constantly use the 'best interest of the child'. I've also noticed how abortion and all things related to keeping children away from the parents. Of course back then feminists were opposed to abortion but I still find the quote interesting.

I've added the comment "Such a pity that you deliberate rewrite history to exclude all the men who campaigned for the vote too, not only for women but also for the majority of men who couldn't vote either.". Any bets on whether it appears on the comments?

BTW, The suffragettes were terrorists

"Bombs were placed near the Bank of England, at Wheatley Hall, Doncaster, at Oxted Station, and on the steps of a Dublin Insurance Office. Lloyd George's new house in process of erection at Walton-on-the-Hill was injured beyond repair by a bomb explosion. That this was the work of the Suffragettes was usually made evident by literature deposited in the vicinity. "

Our govt. who is in charge by mainly men (or for that matter, all are mainly headed by men) drops bombs on other countries everyday for political purposes. I wonder if those we drop bombs on can rightly call us terrorists?

My point being that smaller groups and weaker people are labeled terrorists who in the name of liberty set off bombs who kill FAR less people than the bombs dropped for the same claimed reasons by bigger groups and stronger people. Oddly the latter aren't labeled the same as the former.

Are you smoking dirt weed dipped in political manure or did mommy and daddy not put parental controls on the home computer? Sorry, but you're an idiot.
Let's make a few distinctions here before all the blood pours out of your liberal little uneducated heart.
Dropping bombs on military targets against an announced enemy in time of war has little to do with with using poorly designed bombs, put in locations of no military value, to instill fear in a politician you don't like. Now, I may wish to do the same, but I don't. Did you cheer for Timothy McVeigh too? How about the first World Trade center bombers? Sitting at home and having no clue about real life except what some talking head on the lobotomy box tells you is an "opposing point of view" is no way to learn to form an opinion. If these ideas came to you on your own,you and Ted Kaczynski should go fishin.
I am in the military. I have not been shot at and aint gonna lie to puff up my own image and dishonor those who have been there and done that. But, I have met tons of Veterans who have been in unhappy situations. Let me give you something to chew over in that noggin of yours. A pipe bomb (hell, we should BE so lucky!) is a fearsome thing. The cast iron pipe SHATTERS during the explosion and some of these "poor misunderstood oppressed freedom fighters" coat the bomb with rat poison. It's an anti-coagulant. Some of these "poor people" then set a second device set to go off about the time the medical personnel arrive. Nice.
Now, to be utterly fair, during WWII french resistance fighters often used what we call guerilla warfare. But it was almost invariably against German military personnel and targets. The way they did it may have seemed unfair, but lemme give ya a tip. In warfare, my idea of FAIR is to bring all my dudes home while mercilisly mudering those other bastards and putting such a hurt on them that they either: give up their belief system or die. But I don't shoot at their kids. It may surprise you to know, since the Instant Experts on the boob toob don't tell you this, but many of the "soldiers" sent after US troops ARE kids sent by their chickenshit parents who then claim we use indiscriminate fire.
Look, point is, don't let anyone spoon feed you ill-formed sound bites as knowledge. Find out on your own and learn that TV, Newspapers, and Magazines are CONSUMER driven vehicles guided by Political Correctness.
One last thing. Before you spout off and/or disagree... one simple test. Invite one of these "noble but misunderstood" barbarians to live with you. In your house. Or you can choose to have some 18 year old US soldier take up residence. Pick one. Easy test. Not to be smug, but which did you pick?

The male politicians are elected by the voters --most of whom are women. So the women have to shoulder some of the responsibility for what their elected leaders do.

The US has attacked those believed to be responsible for terrorist attacks on innocent people in the US. That has to do with self-preservation. The US didn't initiate terrorism, it responded to terrorism against innocent American civilians.

My views on feminism? I think that feminism is destroying both the family and this country. I believe at one time feminism truly worked towards equality for men and women. The right to vote, equal job opportunities, protection from abuse, were all just causes.

So what does feminism stand for today? Keeping fathers from their children, protecting women who lie about rape and sexual harrassment, giving women advantages like grants and jobs which are not given to men, and promoting negative male stereotypes are just a few examples of the projects deemed worthy of the modern feminist.

What has this caused? Men are 10% less likely to go to college, 10% more likely to commit suicide, and live nearly 10 years less than women. My sons are included in these figures. What is being done about this? Nothing. Feminists fight tooth and nail any research done for men. Why? You tell me.

When NOW openly admits men should be obsolete in the next decade, that a family does not need it's fathers, and that every act of sex is rape, that tells me that NOW has no interest in actual equality. It's interest is advantages for women only. I openly, both with free speech and my votes, fight feminism every day. I am grateful to those women who helped us gain equality, and I am distainful of those women who push forward into the misandry which passes for modern western culture.
Sincerely, Jen Kuhn
