CPS CONGRESSIONAL INQUIRY PRELIMINARY ANNOUNCEMENT AUG 2003
Good news. After ten months of research and lobbying, Government Watch succeeded in getting the first Congressional Inquiry into CPS/DHSS/court abuses scheduled for January. It will be in the Inland Empire, date to be announced.
We are seeking commitments from victims to testify before a
congressional panel. Please let me know if I can add you to the list. We are inviting people, victims and expert witnesses, from all over the United States. Hope you can join us. Major media will be invited also.
We plan to lead off the Inquiry with experts, such as a sociologist who
researched the child "protection" system for 10 years and has developed
solutions.
If you know of other expert witnesses, dedicated social workers,
authors, doctors, psychiatrists, psychologists, etc., who want to share their
research and knowledge with Congress, please have them contact me.
The formal hearing will be on a Saturday morning, longer if needed.
Date and location to be determined, depending on the number of people who want to testify.
Now we are looking at the County Board of Supervisors chambers in San
Bernardino or Riverside. They are equipped with audiovisual systems,
theater seating for over 200, a separate media booth, etc.
As plans are finalized and the witness/expert list is developed
Government Watch will be sending out press releases to all major media.
Congresspeople are helping to notify their colleagues.
Please share this info with other interested persons. We must get at
least 200 witnesses there in January.
