At the suggestion of a friend, I've been thinking about issuing a Mensactivism.org "Man of the Year" award as well. Readers would get to nominate and vote for people. I'll probably get things organized and then wait for the end of the year to get the process started (nominations, etc).
If anyone has any particular ideas with regard to this I'd welcome them.

Sounds like a good idea, Scott. Perhaps you could accept nominations via e-mail for a certain period of time, then post those nominations in the "Poll" section of this Web site. Let the poll run for a week or so, and then we'll have our winner.
I'll even drop you the first nomination: Scott Garman. :)

The Pollbooth has problems in that it's too easy to vote multiple times - I would accept nominations on the comment board to the announcement, and accept e-mail votes to a special address, ie manoftheyear@mensactivism.org, vote@mensactivism.org, or whatever.
Of course, Mensactivism.org administrators would not be eligible for the award!

No doubt, Scott is scared that us mensactivism admin guys would show everybody else up without trying :)
