Fatherhood Mark and Tarek both submitted this story from Yahoo! News. It describes a study in which young men were polled about their attitudes toward marriage and divorce, and it was found that having a close relationship with one's parents, especially one's father for boys, dramatically improves a son's outlook on marriage and confidence in building long-term relationships. From the article: "In this respect, a boy's relationship with his dad may be even more important than the one he shares with his mother, since fathers remain a boy's most important male role model, shaping his attitudes toward intimate partnerships." The article can be read here.
