I'm encouraged to see more newspapers reporting on this, but I'm not going to get all-a-titter over this article.
It's not that I don't appreciate the Massachusetts News' coverage but, looking at the other articles on their site I get the feeling that I agree with them on almost every front... which means that most other people won't.
Even more encouraging is that Canada's National Post is reporting on things like this, and the National Post is one of the top two papers in the country. Nonetheless, and despite news to the contrary, liberal rags still won't touch this stuff with a ten foot pole. We have a ways to go yet before the idea that women are violent is "accepted" or "unavoidable" by society at large.
But I'm willing to wait.

I'm very much aware that some have been campaigning for real equality for over thirty years. I feel I'm just turning up when the race is all but won.....
Feminism's life blood is censorship. Think of a huge damn across a wide river. By the time you see some small cracks appear in the damn its far too late to run because those cracks have been forming for decades. All you see is the product of years of behind the scenes work.
How can feminism continue to get billions of dollars for their sex discrimination when everyone knows that women hit men as much as men hit women? How will feminists bully legislators to back bigoted laws when they have no moral authority? Its all coming down and the smartest feminists are already making out like rats on a sinking ship -- look at Faludi.
Although feminism is sometimes compared to 1930's Nazism I think in terms of where their power is going they are more like 1980's Soviet Communism. The key is the media coverage of men's issues. Feminism has blocked it for decades. Not any more. They can still block negative criticism of feminist lies but how long can that last?
