France: Sex not part of woman’s ‘marital duties,’ court rules in divorce case

Article here. What duties are left, I wonder, if any? Excerpt:
'A French woman has won a ruling from Europe’s top human rights court, with a panel of seven judges unanimously saying she should not have been blamed in her divorce for not having sex with her husband.
The European Court of Human Rights judgment ruled that the woman — known as Ms. H.W. in court documents in keeping with European protocol — suffered a violation of Article 8 under the European Convention on Human Rights, the right to respect for family and private life.
The case centered on the divorce between the woman, a French national born in 1955 who lives in Le Chesnay, near Versailles, and her husband, known in court records as Mr. J.C.'

Another nail in the marriage coffin
As if it weren't enough that being married as a man comes with a boatload of duties and obligations, it also now comes w/ zero expectation (at least in France) of even getting laid any time soon. While pols decry the lack of children being (not) born, they allow one step after another to eliminate any incentive or even reason for men to marry much less have children. Amazing. It's not robbing Peter to pay Paul. It's not even that well-thought-out. It's working to cross purposes. If marriage isn't an institution that allows couples to have and raise kids together (and courts seem not to acknowledge this), then what's it for? If ppl have no aim as they now don't, to reproduce, marriage becomes useless-- unless you're a woman seeking to walk off with half or more of a man's assets and probably his house, if he has one.
I see no good use for marriage for men.
