Female Teacher was "depressed" when she "had sex with" male student

'LISBON, N.Y. (AP) A 33-year-old high school English teacher charged with rape told police she was suffering from depression when she had sex with a 15-year-old student.

Accompanied by her husband, Christel Gravlin cried Monday as she was arraigned on felony counts of third-degree rape and third-degree criminal sexual act and misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child.

The affair became public when the highly intoxicated teacher announced it to students and others nearby during a school basketball game on Nov. 30. Deputies accused Gravlin, who has taught at Lisbon Central School since 2003, of having both oral sex and intercourse with the boy on Nov. 25 during a brief relationship that began a week or two earlier.'

Let me get this straight - Mrs. Gravlin was depressed, intoxicated, and taking pain killers when she seduced her 15 year-old student?

That's like winning the trifecta for "victimized woman" get-out-of-jail-free legal alibis! (She's a genius!)

Gravlin said - "He told me I was young and beautiful and he said he loved me. There was something about hearing these things that made me feel good again," said Gravlin, who has two children.

When she tried to break off the affair, the boy began talking about suicide, Gravlin told investigators.

"Each time I mentioned ending everything, he reminded me of these suicidal thoughts. In retrospect, I feel it was a way to manipulate me," she said.

Wow! So she sexually assaulted this kid in order to SAVE HIM! Brilliant! And, he victimized her with his suicidal whining! (BTW - that's straight out of the feminist Duluth Model DV manual as a form of abuse.)

And, note the implied domestic violence committed by her slacker husband, who obviously ignored her needs and was criminally negligent in failing to tell her she is still young and beautiful. (More abuse!)

Not only will this woman not go to jail, this case has "Oprah Special" all over it!

She deserves an honorary Ph.D. in Women's Studies and a free car after the upcoming TV show.

Men that are "accused" of rape and found to "not be guilty" get their careers ruined over false allegations. Meanwhile this bitch gets to "choose" not to go to the job that she still has?

Man get the fuck out of here. If this shit gets any worse I can see riots in the near future. These women we post about are killing people, raping children, and lying their asses off with impunity; while men are ostracized from society on even false rape allegations -- unless they have enough money to defend themselves.

"suffering from depression" is a women-only defense..?

Would that actually work as a defense? I too would be depressed while having sex with an underage person..knowing what kind of trouble it might get me into. Actually, if anything, it should prove she was sane at the time.
