Journalist thrown off bus after paedophile accusation by woman

It's good to see that this stuff happens to high profile men too, and that it gets at least some attention. Quote:

'ABC News presenter Jeremy Fernandez has described the moment he was kicked off a Sydney bus after enduring verbal racial taunts earlier this morning.

After boarding a State Transit bus to drop his daughter off at preschool, Fernandez was the victim of racist abuse from a woman in her mid-30s with two young children of her own.

He said he endured 15 minutes of racial abuse - where the woman claimed she would drag Mr Fernandez off the bus if he didn't get off. But then it was the bus driver who eventually kicked Mr Fernandez off, claiming it was his fault for the altercation.'

Sorry if I'm coming across all word-cop-ish, Gary, but I wouldn't say what happened to this guy was good to see for any reason. *Any* man can fall victim to this kind of arbitrary abuse by a woman and there will be no justice for him. No evidence, no corroboration is needed, it can even happen on a public bus where everyone can see who is being the nutty one-- makes no difference. An angry woman hurling accusations of child molestation immediately gets the deference and presumed rightness, even if she includes racist invective and is clearly in the wrong and in addition, an ugly, racist loony. Just great.

i stopped in a local sport's bar to watch part of a game and have a much needed cold one. i had not yet even finished my first beer, intently watching the game while sitting at the bar, when the bouncers surrounded me and told me to leave. it seems some woman had complained that i was staring at her. to this day i have no idea who did that to me; and, i never set foot in that bar again.

and no, my eyes are not crossed or anything stupid like that.

anyway, long ago i learned that males who blindly follow the wants of women are not men at all, just shadows of men. they lack an inner courage to stand alone in the world and call a spade a spade.

honesty, integrity, honor - those are the some of the true attributes of chivalry. it was never 100% about protecting and showing deference to women in all things. it was a constant life-long quest for self improvement.
